I ordered the HOMBYS 2 Piece Boat Trailer Bunk Carpet with Backside Adhesive 13ft x 12in because I was doing assorted repairs to the trailers of 2 sailboats I own (a 16' and 20'). Over the years, the bunk boards and carpets have dried and cracked on both trailers and I wanted to replace both. Because my boats (and the bunks needed for them) are smaller, I was able to replace the bunk carpeting on both with one set of the HOMBYS Bunk Carpet. I was able to cut each roll (which despite knowing the size, was much bigger than I expected) lengthwise and get 2 pieces from each roll. While the adhesive tape is relatively strong, I still wrapped the carpet under both sides of the bottom of the bunk board and stapled the edges along their length with Stainless Steel staples. The Bunk carpet from HOMBYS is a very good quality at a reasonable price.

The adhesive was not as sticky as glue would be, but I shot a few staples on back side of fabric into the 2x4 and it is holding up great. I will say I do like the idea of not having to use glue and making a mess (then having to clean it up). So far (couple months in) still holding up good.

Easy to replace old carpet on a boat trailer. Big enough to do the 4 boards. Should last another 10 years. Easy to cut, nice color.

This is not really carpet- it is made of a super-thick felt material. So far so good- my husband used it to re-cover the bunks on our boat trailer. We'll see how well it lasts when we pull the boat out again in the spring.

This isn't like the carpet that came on my original trailer bunks. It's more like a heavy duty felt. However it appears durable and it was easy to wrap around and staple to the bunks. The adhesive seemed strong and adhered well to the raw wood of the bunks. Not sure if the adhesive will keep holding long term without staples so I used staples as a backup.

Great bunk carpet if you are looking to repair or replace the bunks on your trailer. They look and feel similar to the factory carpet on my trailer. I use this carpet when I was building a cart/dolly for my Jetski. Works like a charm.

Arrived in 2 folded strips. Was easy to lay out and install onto my boards. The backing paper was a little difficult to remove as it would tear apart while I was pulling it off but didn't give me so much trouble that I wanted to toss it in the trash.
