FYI when buying these, they are EXCELLENT machines that I have bought about 20 of over the last year or so - in the past they came with Windows 10 Pro, but the last half dozen over the previous 6 months or so are ALL Windows 11 Pro, and when I've inquired was told that Microsoft doesn't want them with Windows 10. I just install Windows 10 when I get them, but beware to shut off Bit Locker, or you will end up with a brick!     • LOOKS LIKE A NEW MACHINE
I was looking for an inexpensive, light weight, Windows laptop for travel. So I thought I'd take a chance on a renewed machine. The description said it would be in "excellent" with, "...no signs of cosmetic damage visible from 12 inches away." "Damage?" I challenge you to find from 2" away! Go ahead, use a magnifying glass, this machine is better than "excellent", it's like new. I am blown away! I'm a Prime member so I was expecting 2-3 day delivery. IT ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY! It came with Win10 Pro pre-loaded but while checking for update, Windows offered a free Win11 upgrade. That didn't go very well (thank you MicroSoft) but, when I reached out to the vendor, they were incredibly responsive and helpful and got me back running. As a result, I've got a incredible machine for a fraction of a new one. ... show more

    • Excellent Laptop
Received the laptop today and was in excellent shape and looked new. I ordered the Dell because it was supposedly come with windows 10Pro installed and when I received it after setup it did not have Windows 10Pro instead it had Windows 11 Pro, plus the fingerprint sensor did not worked. So I am returning it. Nothing wrong with the laptop it functioned ok while initial setup, the only thing the fingerprint did not work and I didn’t know if it was supposed to work or not. ... show more

    • You’re not going to find better for the price.
This laptop is AMAZING for the price! I compared the “specs” to a new one, not a Dell, or even a big brand, and the least expensive one I came across that matched it was >$1000. So for a refurbished computer brought up to near new with the specs this has AND a robust frame? Just buy it, it’s worth it! There are some reviews commenting about it not having the “pro” version of windows. Mine did, so I can’t complain about that or even address it. I wonder if something is off in the “Windows Update” software that’s keeping these from updating correctly? Just a thought. Right after I got it, I went through and shut down all the “bloatware” that windows loves to hide in there, and once I did that, let it update itself, downloaded some basic software, this thing is SMOOTH! Im sure there are YouTube tutorials out there to help you do this, or you could use an AI assistant to walk you through it some of the most important things to shut off are DEEP in there. I know these are refurbished, so there are going to be some little things here and there that are not strictly speaking “perfect” but if you want that level of newness, then buy new. The only drawback on mine I’ve found is that the battery is a little bit short lived. Its not the fault of the seller, its not “bad”, it’s not a “bad battery” it just only gives about 2-3 hours of usage before it’s at less than 10%. I’ve done some research and I think this is about standard for this “age” and model of machine even with a new battery so I’m not really too fussed about it, I don’t use it without being near a power source so, no big thing, maybe down the line if I find it bothersome I’ll look into upgrading the battery, but like I said that’s MINOR relative to what you get with this computer. I’m seriously thinking about buying a second one just to have on a shelf as a backup! I’m saving this seller, and I’m certain that I’ll be buying another one. The weight of this thing is possibly heavy for its size, but again like I’ve said I think this is a corporate lease return, and these are built heavy, to be USED, not with the typical “light weight” components. All of that said it’s sub 5lbs, and fits beautifully into my Mous backpack, that I use for my traveling back and forth internationally , and it’s perfect. Mine was an i7 processor, with 32gb ram, and. 1Tb drive, so speed is not an issue. I don’t “game” with it, but I would imagine I could, I don’t think it would run brand new high spec games, but I’m fairly confident that it would not disappoint as long as your expectations are realistic for an older computer, with high end components. I suspect the screen would be the weak spot for serious gaming, but then again, at this price… Over all this is an OUTSTANDING value on an INCREDIBLE machine!
