So, I really love the look and feel when sitting in them. Im am 55, 5"4 and embarrased to say Im about 196lbs, but want to give an honest review. The ad says the weight capacity is 265lbs and I saw some larger men in them in some of the good reviews with pics, so I thought they would be fine for me. I've had them a month now. Bought them for daily use of sitting in my bedroom watching tv. However, I had my arms on the arm rests and went to adjust my sitting position, then heard a slight cracking noice. You can't see it, but I can feel the small dents where my elbows were. So instead of using a metal or harder or thicker material in the arms, its seems to be just a very thin piece of wood with very thin padding. I don't feel the springs in the seat, but I can already hear those a little too and its not like I plop down hard or throw myself into the chair. I wanted to give 5 stars, but I just can't. I would say these are definately not good for kids, but would be good in a room to be used occasionally only. I feel they should be much lower in price. I also wouldn't purchase again as a long term investment and feel they should not only use a stronger material in the arm rests, but stronger springs in the seat or lower the weight capacity in the ad. For now tho, I will keep as long as they will last, which I feel will not be long and I had such High hopes.

Bought this chair for our seasonal porch. At first seemed a little stiff when reclining, but as the cushions compressed it became more comfortable and now it's become a favorite chair for napping.

I was looking for an inexpensive recliner since I have two cats that are not declawed and no matter what I do to try to protect furniture, they manage to at the very least to do some damage with their claws, even furniture that I've covered with slipcovers and EVEN furniture that I've put double sided tape on and/or plastic furniture guards. They somehow manage to get their claws into the furniture. So, when I was looking for a recliner, I wasn't especially looking for one that had a synthetic leather as they can damage that as well. I had actually ordered a couple of other pieces of furniture, one from Amazon and one from another company that were so uncomfortable to sit on that I returned them and kept looking. The reviews were pretty good for the Homall recliner so I decided to try one but honestly didn't have much hope for it being very comfortable. I was completely surprised! While the recliner is not a luxury chair that you'll sink into and feel like you're in a soft cocoon, it is actually quite comfortable. I recently was very sick with Covid and spent quite a bit of time in the chair. The only comfort related issue I have with the chair is that while reclining, the lower part of the chair that holds your legs is a bit hard and can feel a bit uncomfortable if your legs are in one place too long. I thought the chair, for the price of about $150 was such a great bargain for my needs that I ordered a second recliner of the same so that I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. They are not bad looking at all, and they are very easy to assemble. I'm a smaller woman in my 60's in good shape and had no problem at all. Now, if I didn't have cats I would have spent more money on a chair that I know would last for years and had more padding on the legs. I don't know how well the recliners will hold up over time but they aren't going to be subjected to rough use so hopefully they will hold up for a few years. The size of the recliners is perfect for a smaller apartment and people who aren't very tall and/or very heavy. I can see how someone who is over 6 feet tall or someone who may need a wider seat with more support may not be the most comfortable in the chair as the recliner is on the smaller side. It also sits lower to the ground than some, but it's perfect for me at 5'4". Overall, I'm happy with the recliners. They arrived on time with no damage.

This is a second chair i bought, the first I use for a Airbnb space in my house. I like it because it supports my head, I'm 5'9" 190lbs. I am 5' 1" tall and weigh between 115 and 120 lbs. It fits me just right. I bought a brown one approx. 3 years ago. It was still in good mechanical condition. It had signs of wear and tear on the arms and headrest. The only reason I decided to replace it was because I was mistakenly sent a recliner that had heat and massage. (The heat and massage worked well, but it took away from the comfort of the recliner.) The padding was thin over the massage and heat mechanisms and made it less comfortable than I would have liked. This recliner does not have heat and massage and the padding on the back and seat are thicker and more comfortable. Very easy to assemble. Just screw the legs on and slide the back on and sit down! There is no handle, just use your body weight to lean back or move forward. I'm not that strong and I assembled it by myself.

For $100 the chair is great. But if you’re over 5’8-5’10” you may feel like you won’t get to recline comfortably. But if you want a chair to sit in or have for guests than this gets the job done. Looks nice. Easy to assemble.
