I bought this chair for a very specific space, and it fit perfectly. Im 5'3 and I sit in it comfortably whether its reclined or not. I actually bought it for my boyfriend who it 6 foot. He wouldnt be able to like sleep in it, but can sit comfortably. My cats love it. Its not big but it is comfortable. Comes in 2 pieces and easy to put together. I think it was 40 lbs. I was able to carry it up three flights of stairs, although I should have made him do that part. I gave it 5 stars because it's exactly what they said it was. Small, comfortable, reclines, easy to assemble. So while it's not a top of the line recliner, it's exactly as advertised and a really good price.

Very pleased with this recliner chair. I didn't need a big chair next to my computer chair. I do half of my work from home at my desk and I need a recliner chair when I take breaks from work. I didn't need one to fall asleep in, but comfortable enough to put my feet up and relax little bit when I need it, or while watching a movie on my 43" monitor next to my working monitor. I'm not a small guy at 6'-2", 230 lbs but I fit comfortably in this chair. The chair could be a little longer or the headrest and armrests could be a little higher for someone my size, but the chair is still comfortable, nice looking, and so far it's holding up well.

I am satisfied with this chair. It went together with no problem, all parts were there, no problems with the chair. I got it to sit in front of my PC while watching something. The desk chairs I have had in the past were unbearable and uncomfortable. This chair suits me for what I wanted it for. It's comfortable and I can half recline or fully recline. I like the low arms. My only advice is to think twice about buying something like this online, without seeing it. You can find something similar in some of the stores and try it out first. If you are not satisfied, chances are, you are stuck with it. Just know that. But I lucked out, this chair serves my purpose. Needed something comfortable at my PC and this is fine.

It is indeed small. 275lbs weight limit. My father is 5'6 and the back does meet the top of his head. I thought there would be a cord or remote to recline but its all manual. Basically, lean back and the foot rest comes up. It's NOT smooth. Chair was very underwhelming! Like some said before, I don't see this chair lasting a year or even a few months of constant use. Cheap is why I bought it but the product seems much cheaper. Buy this when it goes back to $100 or less. Because of pandemic these products keep going up in price. If it was $100 flat, no extra shipping then I would recommend. Packaging: Big brown box, maybe 50lbs stated on it. Box came slightly beat up. Said, made in Vietnam. Pretty sure if you intend to return, its gonna cost ya and be a pain in the ass. Assembling: 5 mins. Connect back part to seat. Screw in bottom leg pieces by hand and voila! Done. If you are 5'6 or less and less than 200lbs (maybe, 175lbs) this might be decent and last longer. This maybe ok if u are making a small theater room for you and guests that watch a movie from time to time. I would not suggest for like my dad as his go to sit all day kinda chair. This wont last and day 1, he put an extra cushion on the chair. Chair feels too low for him. All in all, this is why I dislike making big purchases online. For furniture, buy where you can try out and return easy. But again, if you can find this for $100 and are on the short side/average weight ( I am 200lbs and i believe i would dent this chair with a few uses) go for it. Mine came with no rips, tears, tiny odor and super fast assembly, no tools required. Will update when and if this chair breaks.

UPDATE: Scratched below first approach - after only few days of usage. Reason?: two of female thread inserts came out and one corner of the wood frame was almost raveling. So I implemented this second approach : I mounted two 3" wide hardwood pieces (see the pic) under the seat with self-drilling wood-screws. These are quite dense door thresholds - bought from hardware store. I also replaced the wheels. So instead of previous single-stem wheels; these new ones mounts with 4 screws (avoiding the sway effect of single-axis stem). The whole idea is to distribute the body weight on to wood frame of the seat - utilizing largest possible area. So far so good. ------------------------------------------------------ After couple decades of using computer chairs; I'm done with them. The issue I (and you) have with all computer chairs is; you sit on single axis (shock absorber). Bottom mount of that shock absorber (to wheel-base) lasts forever; no problem. But top mount always breaks after a year or two (unless you are shelling $1200 on a HermanMiller chair). That's because of your body weight swaying left & right. Even the arm rests and/or body breaks if your chair has a plastic frame (as most of them do). Plus the long-term comfort is never comparable even to a basic recliner seat. For these reasons I searched alternatives. I found this basic recliner with good reviews. But I had to have wheels on it. I measured the diameter of screw-in feet. That screw stem has 8 millimeter diameter. Then I found and ordered set of 2" Screw M8 5/16 8 x 25mm Caster Chair Wheels (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXMW9JC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). But you can't simply screw-in those caster wheels. Because this recliner has a tiny wood frame. Female thread is only small metal nut - merely embedded in to that wood frame. If you simply screw-in those wheels; your body weight will just rip that metal nut out of that wood-frame (i.e.; you'll destroy it). Because the original plastic fixed-foot has large diameter. As you screw-in that original feet; weight is distributed on to wood frame thru that wide plastic body. So I had to use few metal washers to simulate that (so the weight is applied on to wood-frame - not only to metal nut insert). You have to use at least one 2" diameter washer (2,5" is better, if you can find it). I added two more smaller washers because the wheel was not fully going in to the female thread. (the reason is; female thread is real 8 mm, but the caster wheels I ordered are actually 5/16"-18 coarse and they are NOT exact equivalent). With these 3 washers you see in the photo; I can tighten the wheel till it stops in the thread (again; because of size mismatch between 8mm female thread and 5/16" wheel stem). At the end; I have a very nice wheeled computer seat (versus a chair). Highest comfort. I can recline and (once seated) pull myself under the desk (thanks to wheels) effortlessly. You better have a height-adjustable desk though. Because finished height of that seat is lower than typical computer chair. If you have a fixed computer desk; chances are that you'll stay too low with this recliner under it. Coming back to quality of this recliner seat; it's only adequate, considering what you are paying for it. Padding sponge is merely there - frame is only wood (probably not very strong). So if you don't sway and throw your body weight around; it should last for some time. If you need better durability & comfort; you'll need to pay about five-fold.

4 stars because I knew this was going to me a small recliner and I wanted a narrow one. 2 stars if you compare it to regular size recliners. Pros: nice fabric for the price. Easy to assemble. Not too heavy. Great for small spaces. Nice color. Cons: Just too small after all. It's like a chair for kids. I am 5'8" and the top of the chair only reaches my neck. The arm rests are too low. The feet a plastic. To narrow and too small for anyone taller and heavier than maybe 170 pounds. It's not a snuggle down comfy chair to read in. Have had for just a day so we will see how it holds up.
