I bought this chair for a very specific space, and it fit perfectly. Im 5'3 and I sit in it comfortably whether its reclined or not. I actually bought it for my boyfriend who it 6 foot. He wouldnt be able to like sleep in it, but can sit comfortably. My cats love it. Its not big but it is comfortable. Comes in 2 pieces and easy to put together. I think it was 40 lbs. I was able to carry it up three flights of stairs, although I should have made him do that part. I gave it 5 stars because it's exactly what they said it was. Small, comfortable, reclines, easy to assemble. So while it's not a top of the line recliner, it's exactly as advertised and a really good price. ... show more

Very pleased with this recliner chair. I didn't need a big chair next to my computer chair. I do half of my work from home at my desk and I need a recliner chair when I take breaks from work. I didn't need one to fall asleep in, but comfortable enough to put my feet up and relax little bit when I need it, or while watching a movie on my 43" monitor next to my working monitor. I'm not a small guy at 6'-2", 230 lbs but I fit comfortably in this chair. The chair could be a little longer or the headrest and armrests could be a little higher for someone my size, but the chair is still comfortable, nice looking, and so far it's holding up well. ... show more

The bottom (seat) and recliner mechanism was flopping around in the box when I opened it. There were a couple of holes in the box. 3 of the mounting screws came loose and were in the box. One screw remained attached but got bent really badly. I straightened it out and mounted everything. The chair is really comfortable and perfect for my small space. It is easy to recline and to get out of. It is a little narrow but works for me. I am 6’ 225. No issues at all. I am pleased so far. It may have been a little tough for someone that is less mechanically inclined to assemble with the bent screw but if it came not damaged would be easy for anyone. Easy to lift and easy to assemble. This chair is relatively comfortable for the price but it does not equal the comfort of a full-size La-Z-Boy. Be aware that if you are much taller than 5 foot 10 you may not be able to lay your head back at the top of the chair.

This little chair is awesome. I am 5'2 and 255 ish lbs and I ordered this for the time being until I can buy a better recliner. Its in my bedroom. Before I was sitting in a cheap $30 zero gravity chair that was very uncomfortable for sitting as well as posture. I started looking at recliners months ago and was balking at paying 300 dollars plus for a nice recliner. I happened to stumble across this on Amazon, a chair for around 100 bucks with good reviews! I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. Its comfortable. I read on other reviews that chairs with a manual recline were difficult to shut and that is NOT the case with this chair. Its very easy to recline and sit up. Fits me perfectly esp with my height and the paper it came with says it has a weight capacity of 275 lbs. So my hope it is lasts a really long time. So far I give it 5 stars for its being affordable, compact, lightweight, seems to be of good quality and the shipping was faster than expected! UPDATE 3/3/2019 I went to sit in the chair tonight and the left side, the wood has split and the bolt came out. Now I can't recline the chair and my cat is not happy since she loves sitting with me while I am reclined watching YouTube. My Dad is going to attempt to fix it tomorrow if it can be salvaged. It ALMOST lasted one year. It's still a comfortable chair just at the moment it can't be reclined. 3/6/2019 I forgot to update this review. It wasn't possible to fix the chair and I had to throw it away. It was a bummer as I really liked it. I'm reducing it to 3 stars since I did get some good use out of it before it broke. 5/10/2025-- I am changing my review to 5 stars since I needed a new chair and decided to give this another try. So far, it has been great as I've had the chair for close to 6 months; I use it as my personal computer, gaming chair, and the laid-back recline is perfect. I also have furniture plastic movers for the feet so I can slide it in and out, which has not affected the chair frame. I feel that the leather is hot. so I will be getting a chair cover for it. The Homall Recliner Chair is comfortable and provides good lumbar support, making it great for relaxing. However, the build feels a bit flimsy, and I’m concerned about long-term durability. Comfortable but giving 3 stars because it’s not very sturdy.

It's smaller than you would think, BUT it is beautiful, easy to clean, comfortable and literally...3 steps to put it together! I had it together in 5 minutes! It took longer to get it out of the box! It works well, you just lean back to put the foot rest out with every little effort. I LOVE IT!

I was looking for an inexpensive recliner since I have two cats that are not declawed and no matter what I do to try to protect furniture, they manage to at the very least to do some damage with their claws, even furniture that I've covered with slipcovers and EVEN furniture that I've put double sided tape on and/or plastic furniture guards. They somehow manage to get their claws into the furniture. So, when I was looking for a recliner, I wasn't especially looking for one that had a synthetic leather as they can damage that as well. I had actually ordered a couple of other pieces of furniture, one from Amazon and one from another company that were so uncomfortable to sit on that I returned them and kept looking. The reviews were pretty good for the Homall recliner so I decided to try one but honestly didn't have much hope for it being very comfortable. I was completely surprised! While the recliner is not a luxury chair that you'll sink into and feel like you're in a soft cocoon, it is actually quite comfortable. I recently was very sick with Covid and spent quite a bit of time in the chair. The only comfort related issue I have with the chair is that while reclining, the lower part of the chair that holds your legs is a bit hard and can feel a bit uncomfortable if your legs are in one place too long. I thought the chair, for the price of about $150 was such a great bargain for my needs that I ordered a second recliner of the same so that I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. They are not bad looking at all, and they are very easy to assemble. I'm a smaller woman in my 60's in good shape and had no problem at all. Now, if I didn't have cats I would have spent more money on a chair that I know would last for years and had more padding on the legs. I don't know how well the recliners will hold up over time but they aren't going to be subjected to rough use so hopefully they will hold up for a few years. The size of the recliners is perfect for a smaller apartment and people who aren't very tall and/or very heavy. I can see how someone who is over 6 feet tall or someone who may need a wider seat with more support may not be the most comfortable in the chair as the recliner is on the smaller side. It also sits lower to the ground than some, but it's perfect for me at 5'4". Overall, I'm happy with the recliners. They arrived on time with no damage. ... show more
