I like it. Great sound. Definitely have to work with the sound but if you know what you're doing it's easy. I love playing with different type pedals but I'm a sucker for good distortion. Has it's advantages both as a booster and alone. Compressor really adds life. It does make a difference what type amp you're playing on. Don't count the pedal out if you have crappy equipment. It's worth the 20$ I paid for it. Buy it. If anything it will grow on you. Or add it with tube screamer or OD . There isn't any rules if it sounds good. My opinion and it's worked for year's. Absolutely love the pedal. It's very versatile. From puchy to chainsaw. Also you can get a really thick heavy sound and even bring some Highs to it all from the pedal Alone. The 3 way shift is a great option. Back in the day you didn't have that option. You had kabobs inside knob's or 3 knob's to turn sometimes more. Definitely going to order more type's of Distortion pedals. Love distortion and many options of it. So in my opinion you can't have to many. I'm running this one and a Tube Screamer similar company. I want to add a couple of more. Not to run all at the same time but to have different tones for different modes. Ex-inferno is next I think. Then the MXR metal pedal. I love the sound of that one. I have access to 30 plus boss distortion pedals and I appsolutly love my Boss effects processer. But I also love a pedal board of Analog pedals. I Jammed out like 5 hour's on A 4 pedal set up. Compressor and noise Gate. And the effects that come in my amp. This pedal alone will give you enough by itself. But I'm greedy. Lol ... show more

Build quality is nice and solid, not tinny or flimsy at all. Electronics seem to be very solid. Best sounding metal pedal I've ever heard straight from the box. Can't go wrong with it, sounds better than a lot of pedals 5x the price.

well I should've bought one of these sooner this thing has twice distortion and at half the price as for it's longevity I will amend this review later on so we'll see I'm having fun with it for the time being so at this point I recommend it. you can't beat it for 20 bucks

Killer distortion pedal for the money....it's very versatile...you can go from tight chuggy low end to searing chainsaw like a hm-2!!!!! I wasn't expecting much but when I plugged it in and started jamming I was really impressed 👍🏻
