I just had shoulder replacement surgery and needed a chair to recline and to sleep in. this year this chair was so easy to assemble even only one handed (couldn't do the tie downs but they are more for appearance and the cross braces required some ingenuity) and is more comfortable than I ever thought it could be . I am 5'10" and bought the extra large version. I sleep in it with an ottoman. Only used it one night so far and I have 5 more weeks in my sling so I will see if it continues to be so comfortable. I sure hope so !!! Update: darn, darn, darn. Chair collapsed. I think front legs came out of plastic receptacles caus I ng cross braces to b e stretched ( one side of both about 45 degrees instead I f 90), then back crossbraces collapsed and all 160 lbs of me fell to floor. I LOVE THIS CHAIR but...may be if I could get a new pair of crossbraces , I could use a very very long cable tie to tie back and front together. Naaah...back to AMZ. S ... show more

This is the perfect reading and gaming chair for me. I would definitely recommend getting a footstool with it just because of the shape. The XL is the perfect size for average adults so I wish they had more colors available in the larger size. It took me 5 minutes to assemble. - 1 star because the support beam only inserts into slots, there is no hardware to secure them which makes me trust it less if my cat were to be sitting under me. The fabric also rides up in the back and sides of the chair even with the ties. As in the other reviews, your cat will likely claim it for themselves! ... show more

It’s super comfortable. And really easy to assemble. But the zipper cam off at the bottom. There was no stopper keeping it from falling off. And there is no support beam that goes on the legs. I’m going to contact seller and see if I can get a support beam. There’s extra fabric at the top that confused me. Overall, I love this chair. And it is great for small spaces. ... show more

Absolutely love this chair- it’s so plush and comfortable! I bought it for reading, but I think I could take many naps in it :) Directions are not very thorough, but easy to figure out regardless. Definitely recommend!
