I have seen my fair share of Christmas trees over the years. As kids, we used to go into the woods and cut our own. Then came the silver artificial ones with matching ornaments. I have purchased my share of fresh-cut and balled trees that you could plant after the holidays. Eventually, I upgraded to newer pre-strung artificial trees, like this tree from Hollo Star. I saw this tree on the review list, and the pre-strung multi-color LEDs looked like they could be fun to work with. The tree arrived packed tightly in a small box. Assembly was not an issue; it just took several days of meticulous effort to get the twigs oriented correctly. The tree comes with the base and three sections that you need to assemble. My only minor comment about the base is that it's a little loose, so the tree will sway left to right a couple of inches. I’ll need to work on the base fit next year. The LEDs are pre-strung, so all you have to do is connect the three connectors together. I found the easiest way was to run the power cord along the trunk, then connect the closest connectors. It worked flawlessly. We had the tree up and blinking in no time. The slight challenge was with the app you can install on your phone or tablet to control the LEDs. The installation was simple using the proper App Store. Turn on Bluetooth and pair it with the controller. Very easy. My advice is to read the application manual that comes with the tree. It's a powerful app that allows you to program many aspects of the light displays. It's intuitive to a point, but there are plenty of options to choose from. If you’re not used to holiday light control, it might take some time to get the hang of it. Play with it and see what happens. In summary, it's a great little tree. The pne cones take away some of the ornament hanging in the room, but that’s okay. I prefer not to cover the lights. We have the 7-foot version, which is the perfect height. We bought a tree topper to finish it off, and a bag to store it. I set it up early so we have plenty of time to decorate and enjoy. Highly recommended as a fun holiday addition.

When it was delivered, I was a little nervous about how small the box was but let me tell you with some fluffing, it really is beautiful. The app makes it very easy to customize the light show and a lot of the premade settings are a lot of fun. Any flocked tree is going to make a bit of a mess coming out of the box, but even with all the touching I did getting it set up, there is still a lot of flocking on the branches. Very impressed with this tree!

THE BEST CHRISTMAS TREE EVER! We've always had a real Christmas trees, but this year I decided to take a chance on something new and different Christmas tree and Oh my! We loved this tree and all the amazing lights show that dance as if they were in a grand performance. My guests were mesmerized by the beauty of the tree and its colors. The media could not be loaded. 100% you need this tree! I git the 7.5ft and its height is perfect for my living room! I love the mix of colors I can choose from on my app. I love that I can create my own set of colors and the way the colors go around the tree. The set up is super easy. Each piece is labeled A, B & C. It does come with gloves but I found it easier to open without the gloves. It does get messy when opening it all up but its amazing once its open. The branches are super thick! As long as you open them all up nicely you won't see any holes. The quality is outstanding! I get the most compliments from this tree. Its totally worth the money! There isn't too much shedding which I love.

Beautiful tree. Only three problems with it are the cheap stand, when they sprayed the flocking on the tree it should have been opened up better seems like some branches only the underside was covered and the middle of the tree is just not as full as the rest. Overall I’m happy with the purchase just really worried about the stand because of my cats. The lights are awesome and the kids love it! Overall easy setup just took some time to fluff it up nicely

I like that the tree is tall and full. However I bought it because of the built in lights and they are just not bright enough. It was easy to assemble but it does not stay put together when trying to slide it across the floor from one place to another. I absolutely HATE the wall plug, it’s so big and bulky it’s hard to hide because it pokes out so much. The light connection is a tad difficult to put together, when trying to tuck the cord. I’ve always wanted a frosted tree, but now I’m wishing I didn’t get it, the tree sheds SO MUCH!

The media could not be loaded. Amazing bang for your buck. You cannot find a tree this nice at your local department stores for less than $250. Fluffing is a nightmare just as any other artificial tree. Lights are amazing and sync with lights I have throughout my home. All can be controlled with the remote or by phone. Branches look good, not super fake. Great option. For $160, it’s a no brainer.
