Description

Wade with confidence using the most advanced wading boot system available. The Hodgeman h-lock removable sole system allows you to swap soles for ideal traction control in any terrain or aquatic environment. The dual lock system holds the sole securely in place. Once engaged the sole will not come off unless both the front and rear locks are disengaged simultaneously - rendering all other removable sole systems obsolete. The Vinson upper incorporates waterproof Nubuck leather construction for exceptional durability and the inner boot is lined with neoprene for added warmth as well as a reduction in water retention. No one wants to haul water around with them, so each step you take drains water from the bottom of the shoe and cleans the track system free of debris. This boot is saltwater ready with corrosion resistant hardware, and the 3d-molded toe guard adds protection where you need it most. The Vinson utilizes double-stitched panel construction for long term durability required by guides who spend countless days on the water, and a D-ring on the tongue ensures a secure location for gravel guard hooks to attach to.

I had some problem finding supplier for felt bottoms because these were backordered on AMAZON for several weeks. I gave up and purchased from Walmart. I really hate to leave such a poor rating on these boots.. BUT... hogman customer service is useless. First their email system doesn’t work.. the you try to call and if you are lucky enough to finally get through and you tell them the issue (missing one insole) they tell you they cannot send you the missing insole because they do not keep parts in stock.. hmmm you make waders.. the insole should have been put in in the factory, you have stockpiles of the boots.. and you cannot send an insole out that quality control missed... then after purchasing the boots they decide to discontinue the outsoles... so replacements will be non existent... sadly they are comfortable.. except very hot.. perhaps do yourself a favor and get some korkers or other boots that perhaps has a customer service department that can help you. ... show more

Boots are ok. Replacing the soles is slightly difficult in cold weather. I've wore my studded soles on about 8 trips now and I would say at least half of the studs are broke off. Boots are comfortable and fit nice. They look nice as well. When the studs on the soles were brand new they did really well on slick rocks. ... show more
