Description

When the weather turns cooler Hodgman Caster neoprene bootfoot waders are the perfect choice for hunter and anglers. Light 3mm neoprene construction provides ideal flexibility and increased mobility. The knees are reinforced and padded for added durability. All seams are taped, glued and stitched to protect against leaks and provide long lasting performance. A durable rubber boot includes 200g of Thinsulate for added warmth and the felt outsole ensures optimal traction. A fleece lined hand warmer pocket keeps the chill from biting into your hands and the large top loading storm pocket is perfect for storage. D-Rings are included on the front and back of the wader for accessory attachment.

REVIEW--Hodgman Caster Neoprene Felt Boot-foot Chest Wader I GAVE THIS ITEM A 5 STAR RATING. Excellent. As advertised. I bought size 9 with felt sole; I wear a 36x29 pants and size 9 shoe…fit is perfect. They would work very well for someone between 5’8” and 6’0”. In seam is close to 32”. They were shipped in 3 days inside a double corrugated box, arrived perfectly I fish and hunt with this style wader (my 4th pair over 45 year period); and use them often and in rough conditions; the reason I like neoprene. These are easily patched or leaks/holes sealed with neoprene cement (available on line or any scuba shop). Not in description but included was a wading bell and a repair kit, nice touch from manufacturer. They have a double front pocket, one wet one dry, wet pocket acts as belt loop for wading belt. They have 3 sturdy ‘dee’ rings, plastic; one in back and two in front at suspender attachment points. These are excellent waders and at a very reasonable price. These are going to be heavy and I find they are tiring if I have to walk over a mile or so on land to reach my hunting and fishing areas. But if you fall in a stream (I do, even with a good wading staff) the neoprene is soft and avoid bruises and broken bones from rocks. Generally, I’m a critical person (engineer) and with extensive outdoor hunting and fishing experience. So, some criticisms: The boot appears to be molded plastic and not as flexible as a rubber boot. the suspenders are made from an elastic material (I’d prefer a nylon webbing so they don’t stretch and weaken with a year’s use). Overall a very good job by Hodgman on a low cost made in China product. I would recommend. ... show more

I'm 5'7" 150lbs and these are perfect width for me but a little long so I have some baggy parts around my knees. If I was around 5'10" these would be ideal fit. The boots fit true to size and the felt bottoms are awesome. Kept me nice and warm on a chilly 40 degree day in the river, however if it was much warmer getting over heated could be a problem because of the thickness of the material. Super happy with my purchase, they work amazingly, i used them while kayak fishing yesterday in like 34 degree, and at no point did my feet or legs/butt get cold or wet. One thing i will say is, while the size 9 boot fits great the actual body cavity was made for someone not a hundred and fifty pounds, but More of a 180 to 190 kind of fit. Great quality, nice thick durable boot. I'm a 5' 8" woman with a size 7.5 foot. These are men's waders, so I ordered the size 7. The boots fit fine, but the waders were too short in the inseam and too tight in the hips. I'm a women's size 10 clothing. I re-ordered the size 8 and they fit perfect. Boots are a little big, but with thick socks they will be fine. These are great for winter or cold fishing (the reason I purchased them). They would be way too hot for summer fishing. ... show more
