Love the completed dresser. It came in two large boxes. Assembly time is listed at 90 minutes for two people. This is not accurate. As an experienced assembler- it took me and an additional person 7 hours to complete. We only had one mis-step in the directions so another 15-20 minutes for that correction/ completion should be added. The drawer support slats were not labeled and were harder to identify in the assembly process, causing the omission of those in the original assembly. Directions were straight forward other than that small piece. Love the locking drawers. The hang bar is a nice feature- but a support shelf inhibits the actual hanging of any shirts. Other small items can be hung or additional (provided) shelves can turn that into a folded shelf unit. Good deal for the money. Allow yourself the time and support for assembly.

Dear whom ever this may concern, When I had first placed this order I tried to cancel it due to the numerous amount of complaints I seen about the product. When I tried to do so it would not allow me to cancel which was the first account of annoyance I had with the product. After many failed attempts of cancellation ( same day as I ordered ) I finally gave up and just hoped for the best from there. I was supposed to receive my package on May 16th but surprisingly it came the same week I ordered it ( received April 21st ). I was very confused as to why it came as early as it did but who is to complain about that right ? Now with hope that this could end up being a great product and a well needed addition to my bedroom, I started to unpack the items. One complaint was that people were not receiving instructions which I happened to have with mine so I'm thinking " This may not turn out so bad after all.." Spoke to soon. Pieces were either chipped, scratched, missing or deformed. I was missing a whole bag of nails/screws which made me have to try to replace other pieces and make due with what I had. Just to make a long story short the instructions that are given don't specify certain things or are confusing to comprehend some of the steps. There is definitely a way easier way to explain these instructions especially if it's for someone who is a beginner ( which I am not ) I've stood up till 7am for 3 days straight trying to put this thing together. The materials given are not sturdy enough for the construction of the cabinet itself. Damages INSANELY EASY ( like cutting a steak with a spoon like butter easy ). NONE OF THE PIECES ALIGNED, TILTED DRAWERS AND DOOR. Also the holes that were pre placed were either not nearly as big as they're supposed to be or not barely a whole at all causing certain pieces to snap during assembly. Now with these frustrations I'm seeing it's a hassle for refunds and such. I am writing this review in hopes that I can get a refund with this being proof as well as photos that I have taken. This has been a hassle since the beginning and could have all been avoided if my cancellation was allowed. I am now in need of a whole new dresser with about $200 less in my account. Please refund me money so I can purchase something that is going to be worth my money. Thank you - A VERY disappointed customer

This dresser is pretty good. When I read all the comments I thought it was really cheap quality. I think a lot of people expected thick, quality wood. But for the price this is a pretty good dresser. I did recieve this with one broken piece (part B), but I called the company and they are sending me another. But it was packaged well with no major scuffs. (All scuff were really small and could have been caused by me). Now as to the time it took to build this.....I can't believe how long it took. The manual says 90 minutes. I read reviews saying it took average 5 hours alone. It took 15 HOURS!!! I'm serious. And it got difficult because you had to screw in to where there's no holes. I had to have someone hold the dresser while I was building and it seemed like it was going to break. (So I will recommend having at least 1 helper). But in the end I had pain in my knees, my back,a sprained wrist, and a major blister on my hand. Is the time and struggle worth it? No. I would rather hire someone to build this. But now its built its nice. Other complaints I had are that the 5 drawers aren't that deep. And the shelves can easily slide out since there is no slot to keep them in place. So this item I will say is a 50/50 if you should get it. But I do like it, just wish there was more drawer space. Update: these drawers are best for kids clothes or if you don't have much or you know how to fold small. I really wish the drawers were deeper. But overall this dresser is holding up really well.

UPDATE: This dresser is still excellent. It scratches easily so it got scuffed moving but nothing too horrible and still very sturdy. Locks still work, drawer bottoms aren't warping and we have it PACKED. I'd recommend keeping the heavier clothes in the bottom drawers. When it's not very full (especially when on carpet) it can get a tiny bit wobbly if the weight isn't distributed well. Overall I'm still thrilled with this purchase. Not a single scratch on anything, all parts were there but this will come in 2 shipments. I got the 1st box Tuesday and the 2nd box on Wednesday. I did all of the "pre assembly" plus assembled the 2 small drawers on Friday (took about 4 hours), then did the rest Saturday (took about 5 hours). I did most of the assembly by myself but did have someone help me when it came to putting the larger pieces in place. Would have been extremely difficult without a second set of hands. The reviews and sheer volume of pieces was intimidating but it wasn't actually too difficult. It feels very sturdy and comes with the pieces to mount it to your wall if your concerned about it falling. I'm not, it stands strong so far. I'll update in a few months to let you know how it holds up but I'm very happy with this product overall.

I have put together a whole lot of furniture and this thing is, by far, the most difficult I've ever come across. I had a very hard time assembling it as many pieces look nearly identical, are able to fit together in incorrect ways, and the instructions make no mention of how important it is to get things right, several times during assembly I had to undo and disassemble certain pieces after realizing that they were wrong several steps after securing them in place. overall it was a big frustrating headache until it was together. Another thing to watch out for is the drawer pulls, they are not actually metal, but cheap fragile plastic, I had to buy brushed nickel arch bow pulls from another place and install them onto this item so that they would actually look decent. With all that said, now that this dresser is fully assembled and in its proper place it both looks great and is incredibly sturdy. So it is worth the money if you can manage to put it together correctly and maybe find some nicer drawer pulls to replace the chincy ones.

Absolutely love this product! It’s perfect for my kiddos that needed more space and a tv stand that’s tall enough to be seen from their bunk bed. It’s definitely a 2 person job so if you have the help take advantage because it took me 2 sessions to put it together by myself which was about 5hours total. I can’t complain because I had power tools to make it easier. The instructions say not to use power tools but if you know what you’re doing they definitely come in handy. Overall satisfied with the product and would highly recommend just go into the purchase knowing the packaging is heavy and it takes a good minute to assemble.

I bought a house in April and I've bought a lot of flat packed furniture over the last few months. This was by far one of the worst I've ever tried to put together. I ended up having to pay a carpenter/home remodeler $100 to assemble it! So after the initial cost of the furniture, it still cost me another $100 to even be able to use it. After over five hours of attempting it myself, I was ready to throw it in the trash. After it sat in my living room floor, taking up every bit of free space I had for 2 days while I was completely stuck trying to figure out what to do next because the pieces i need didn't have stickers on them to identify them, I finally broke down and called my very skilled and reliable handyman with a contractor's license. It took him 4 hours to complete, and he said the instructions were completely worthless. This man builds houses for a living, and still couldn't make sense of the instructions. Pieces were missing stickers to identify the parts, and none of the hardware was identified at all. The instructions didn't even mention where to put the dowels, but he ended up figuring it out through process of elimination. There aren't even holes drilled on the drawers to put the screws in for the tracks! When I finally got it put together, the drawers don't slide easily. They catch and it has to be jiggled just right to get them to open and close completely. I'm assuming this is because the tracks are made for multiple products, featuring many screw holes that aren't used, they didn't provide enough screws to put them where the instructions said, and there were no screw holes or screws for the sides of the drawer to keep the track flush with the drawer. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store and find more screws of this type to make the tracks fit properly. So, more money on something that is supposed to be fully ready to assemble with everything included. Not only is the functionality of the drawers a complete pain, but all 3 locks require different keys. There is no way I'll be able to remember which key unlocks which drawer/cabinet, as they all look the same. Then to add insult to injury, all the hardware is silver on a black piece of furniture. Their solution to cover this isn't plastic caps as I've seen in many other setups. No, instead it provided stickers. Little black stickers with fake wood grain printed on them, and most of them weren't even there. I don't understand why they wouldn't just use black hardware instead of requiring a bunch of stickers to be stuck onto the furniture that will collect dust and eventually fall off anyway. My handyman sat his drink on top of the dresser while he put the drawers in, and it left a ring that bloated up. There was not enough moisture on the cup to be concerned about, but apparently, any moisture at all will ruin this hunk of junk. I had planned to put a mirror behind this and use the top for makeup application, but now that I know it can't handle moisture in even the tiniest amounts, I definitely won't be doing that. This comes in two boxes and is extremely heavy. I had to open it in my garage and bring the pieces in my house a few at a time. I regret this purchase so much, but it would be impossible for me to take it apart and try to get it to the UPS store to return. I found so many similar pieces on facebook marketplace that were already put together, cost a quarter of the price, and were much better quality, but I made the mistake of trusting this brand instead. I bought Hodedah furniture about ten years ago, and my husband and I put it together with no issues and couldn't have been happier with the purchase. I trusted the Hodedah brand because of past experiences with it, and that was a huge mistake. I will never buy another piece of furniture made by this company again. They have become cheap junk just like the off-brand stuff that doesn't even come with instructions in English. I actually bought a piece of flat packed furniture from Temu for $40 that was better quality than this. Don't waste your money!

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS WHOEVER PUT THIS MANUAL TOGETHER MUST HAVE BEEN DELUSIONAL. It came with dented and broken pieces but that could’ve happen during shipping. Now it took about 10 hours for me to put it together alone it’s best to have another set of helping hands I put wayfair furniture together on a regular basis and it never took even close to that long to put together there are lots of parts and it is very heavy the best way to put it together is to look at Steps 2-3-4 for the majority of the process Step 1 and preassembly does no justice you will end up removing most of those parts and that was 2-3 hours alone also be careful with the screws as they don’t provide extras if you happen to lose one...overall looks nice but the drawers aren’t very deep and it’s not real wood when moving it you must pick it up off the floor because it will break by sliding it locking doesn’t work on the door and one of the drawers honestly don’t be a fool spend good money on quality furniture I paid 3 times the price for nightstands I just loved the looked of this dresser but looks are very deceiving.
