The overall build quality is pretty good with this nightstand given the price point. The instructions are laid out very well and easy to follow. Even though the instructions are easy to follow, it is a fairly lengthy process to put the entire thing together. Don't let that fool you into not buying the nightstand though. The end results are a nice sturdy nightstand with power ports built in and a wireless charger which works well. The wireless charger isn't a "superfast" charger, so don't expect to throw your nearly dead phone or tablet on there and have a full charge in 30 minutes. I think it's a slower charger to not overheat your phone or the table, especially if you're going to leave it on the charger overnight as you sleep. It will have a full-charge if you leave it overnight though. It does have a nice feature where the lights can turn on when it "senses" movement nearby which is good because you can use it as a nightlight when getting up to use the bathroom or getting a drink without having the lights constantly on like a night light. I did have some randomness with the lights turning on last night though. Not sure if it was sensing some ghosts in the room or it was just bugging out. I simply turned off the "sensing" button and didn't have any issues. As with anything electronic, it could've just been bugging out, or it could be having some quality issues with the LED strip or the module inside. I'll report back if it happens more. ... show more

This nightstand was time consuming to build. It took me about 4 hours lol. My hand hurt the next day lol but worth it because it was for my 10-year-old son, even though it does have a classy look about it! He loves it. The motion sensor feature is sweet and very convenient. It charges his phone, and everything works electronically on the nightstand. It came a little beat up not really though just some small scratches and some of the layer on the edges were roughed up. You wouldn't be able to tell really. The other one is on its way, and I don't look forward to putting it together ugh but excited lol Good product, I would recommend this nightstand. ... show more

Nightstand is fantastic but there is a very weird thing where it kills my wireless internet! I don't know if it's because of the built in phone charger or not but I've never heard of RF interference from LED strips. Its completely baffling me. I have extremely strong wi-fi and get service all the way past my mailbox.... when it started happening I though it may be a device but the nightstand creates a dead zone with my wi-fi! Its a shame because the auto on feature is amazing. I have it on a switched powerstrip now and just turn it off when I need wireless in there. ... show more
