This is my third pair. Fist pair wore out, Second Dog chewed up :(. Just got a third pair. I really like these shoes I find them comfy and true to size. I also have two pair of the hiking boots. For every day around town shoes they feel great and last a lone time.

For the money, these shoes are a great value. I had to text a few pairs to find my size. It seems that they run a bit big. But with a thin liner and some good socks, they fit me perfectly. Took them out into the swamps and mud in Ireland, and they were perfectly waterproof. They also come with a spare pair of laces, which is really appreciated. Are they as good as brands at double and triple the price? I think they are close. Build quality is good but not as good as that of the "premium" brands, and I have no idea how well they age. My conclusion is to get the size right and give them a try. ... show more

Like the boots; comfortable and fit according to size. I disliked the length of the laces. Even after double-knotting, they are ridiculously long.

They fit like they should The souls are very durable and have a lot of grip I like how they wrap around the back so when you're driving it doesn't wear the back of your shoe out and they actually come with extra laces which is very rare these days

Definitely a good buy for a lightweight pair of hiking shoes with some water resistant capability and should be durable enough for my planned trip to the last frontier state up north. Purchased these on sales via Amazon for under $30 and is comparable to my much heavier Hi Tec hiking boots. The Shulook probably weighs about maybe around 12 ounces for each shoe and that's good for longer walking and hiking. These advertised as waterproof breathable shoes which are debatable as the mesh upper may be water resistant at best as to be waterproof usually indicate everything is airtight non breathable. I've had these for over a week and have used the Shulook for some walking for about an hour plus and one rainy day and it's more than comfortable enough and doesn't really need breaking in. The heel counter is right in the middle for hardness and offers good heel and ankle stability and the EVA midsole gives good cushioning with the rubber sole tread does well walking on rough terrain and wet slippery surfaces. The clay color is probably not as attractive looking as the black Shulook with red laces but does grow on you as it's an adventurous looking type of shoes. Hopefully the rubber sole is durable and don't won't wear out too fast like my Hi tec boots. ... show more

Had to send 1st pair back and should have sent 2 and pair back to get smaller size. Reviews I read stated these run small go size up, NOT AT ALL, go size down if you want to fit like glove and not have your feet slide around in there while hiking
