    • Outrageously overpriced, but good quality
This canopy is currently ridiculously overpriced at around $220. Locally, I can buy a very similar canopy for around $60. This particular canopy is good quality and works as both sun and rain protection, provided, of course, that there isn’t too much wind. However, the quality is certainly not worth the current asking price. The build of this canopy is basic and simple to understand. The legs are thin and I wouldn’t expect them to hold up in too much wind, regardless of how well they might be secured. That being said, they are sturdier than other similar canopies I have purchased at lower prices. The canopy itself is thin but sturdy enough for light use. This canopy can be set up entirely by a single person, but I would recommend having two people if possible. It’s faster and easier if you can have someone standing diagonally from you when extending the base. The weight of the whole unit isn’t terrible to move alone, but again, is easier with a second person. Overall, this is a decent quality canopy that has a slightly sturdier base than competitors sold at big box stores, but for the current asking price of $220, it’s not worth it. ... show more

Package arrived nicely packed and with all accessories. Set it up once, the consumer does need to attach the roof cover with sewn in Velcro straps. I would suggest doing this first, before going out into the field. If a breeze is blowing it would certainly be challenging as a solo set up. Haven’t had a chance to try it out in rain, but everything looks good. I’m 5’8”, and my bare head (no hat) brushes the underside of the structure when entering.     • Lightweight and Quick Setup
We have some larger and more durable canopy but we wanted one that would take up less space and be lighter to toss into the back of a car for times when we weren't sure if we would need it but wanted to have one on hand just in case. This canopy is lighter in every way, unfortunately, the fabric seems a little bit too lightweight and I have concerns that it won't hold up long term. I do like the fact that the canopy can be set up by one person and it can be extended and then raised into place so even shorter people don't have to be able to reach the top. I was a little torn on how to rate this since I like the fact that it is lightweight but it could be a little sturdy. Unfortunately, the price is what made the choice between 3 and 4 stars for me since it is currently listed for over $200 which seems too high for a canopy of this size and quality. If it was offered for under $160 I would have given it 4 stars. Overall reasonably happy with the "8x8FT Easy Pop Up Canopy Tent Outdoor Instant Sun Shelter (Blue)" but for the price I think you can do better. ... show more

    • Set-up is a breeze
I got this to take to lacrosse tournaments. You never know exactly what the weather is going to be, so it's essential to have a canopy available. We used a 10x10 ft one this summer, but it was a major pain. It took at least 2 people to put it up and it had no wheels on it, so it took 2 people to carry it into the tournament. This canopy is SO much easier to transport and use. I LOVE that the carrying case has wheels on it and they roll smoothly, so I can pull it by myself and with one hand. It's a heavy duty bag that's holding up very nicely. Set-up couldn't be any easier. You take it out of the carrying case, pull the frame open a little, make sure the fabric is over the frame and then pull the frame all the way out and extend the legs. Easy Peasy!! There are thumb lock buttons on the legs so that you can easily adjust the height. The frame is very strong and extremely sturdy. It's a full alloy steel truss structure and the metal that is powder coated and rust resistant. It comes with 4 sandbags, 4 ropes and 4 tent stakes, so you can secure it to the ground. We've used it multiple times without those and it's been just fine. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the canopy fabric is thinner than I expected. I thought it was going to be the same thicker 600D PVC fabric that the carrying case is made out of, but it's not nearly as durable as that. While I haven't had any issues with the canopy in the 3 months that I've been using it, I'm worried about the longevity of it. I guess only time will tell. These 8x8 FT easy pop up canopy tent are amazing!! I want to start off with how much room it has, it provides 64 square feet, which is big enough for 4-6 people with plenty of room!! I use it for selling things/yard sell, and parties!! You can definitely use it for many other things such as picnic, camping, or any other outdoor events!! My favorite thing about it would probably be, how easy it is to set it up!! You can literally set it up in a minute with only 3 steps!! First, take out the assembled framed with top from the bag and slightly open. Second, place the fabric over the frame and extend it the legs. Lastly, use the thumb press buttons to easily adjust height and snap into place, with absolutely NO tooled required!! It’s also incredibly strong and durable, it can withstand weather such as heavy wind!! Here’s a very useful tip, although it’s strong make sure to secure the canopy tent with a heavy sandbag to secure it in place! Overall I really like this canopy tent and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering to buy this canopy tent!! ... show more
