My 14 year old loves this. The 3" tires, while not a rugged as the super large ones (4") available on some other models, provide a comfortable ride, and well suited for most dirt paths, grass, roads. While the unit is a little heavy, the front wheel comes off very easily for transport in back of minivan. One of the reason's I picked this on black Friday sale, was that the bike/battery/charger was UL2849 Certified. He has noted that after riding it around for 4/5 miles, the battery gauge hasn't dropped yet. Never depleted the battery all the way, and I am guessing this would probably go 30-40 miles on flat terrain. Bike will get up to 20MPH. Does very well on slopes (750Watt motor helps out here) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. You can check out my video of me riding it. Okay, this is my first electric bicycle and it lived up to the hype! I've owned many electric scooters before and ride normal bicycles -- but this really is game changer, way more fun riding this! It's also great for commuting! It's no wonder I see everyone owning one these days. There's 3 modes and the last one goes pretty fast; you can either pedal and have it gear up on its own, or you can manually twist the knob like on a motorcycle gear. If you're a large person/tall, the size may be a factor; I feel it's lower than my Schwinn 700C hybrid bike. 42V at 2A is the charging adapter rating (same as most electric scooters) The tires need 40 PSI air inflating. The tire size is 57-559 26" x 2.125" This is easily 5 stars. The black looks really sleek and cool. They even include the bike multi-tool. Don't hesitate on this one. ... show more

It handles handles the flat surface perfectly but impressive on all kinds of terrain as well. It's been my daily ride to work and it hasn't disappointed me at all. I specifically like how smooth it is to ride, battery and the speed. It was relatively easier to assemble and quality seems to be good as well. I believe it will last for at least several years. I researched e-bikes for a bit and decided I didn't want to spend a fortune on one. This one seemed to have the best overall battery/ motor/ shipping deal. It arrived in a perfect box exactly when it was supposed to. It was very well packed and there was no damage. I took the battery and charger out right away and started charging it while I assembled it. While the directions are not what I would call amazing, they do give you enough of a clue that most people can figure them out. Everything was going great until I got to the front wheel. There was no quick release axle skewer, or any axle skewer for that matter. I searched all the packing, and the boxes, and every bag, and the entire bike frame, and no luck. Somebody forgot to toss one in the box (oh but I did get an extra set of rear axle cap cover- yea for me) . I contacted Amazon, and they want me to return the seven hundred dollar bike for a ten dollar part. I said no and escalated it. I talked to the US then Great Britain, and finally India. I was put on hold to speak with a product specialist who I was assured would solve my issue. 10 minutes later I was disconnected. How Rude. SO here I sit with a very expensive porch decoration. I ordered a skewer that should arrive by mid week (just in time for the snow) and I'm out a few extra bucks. I also noticed that the rubber edge protectors where the cables pass thru the frame were not seated properly and were VERY difficult to get into place (the cables would have wore thru for sure). I will update this if I ever get to ride or if CS contacts me with a suitable resolution. Until that point I would be very careful if you order this to be sure to check all the parts before even unpacking it (I'm not sure where the missing part should have been, but I would guess one of the 3 or 4 boxes included). Update 1. CS did reach out and offered to send me the axle. After a week it is still not here, but we will see. Got on off Amazon in 2 says and finished the build. The bike uses pretty cheap hardware that strips out was too easy so do be careful. Front brake is rubbing real bad and I need to figure out how readjust it. I did take a 3 mile ride and the motor and pedal assist works amazing! The bike is comfortable to ride, and the gearing is perfect. Battery life so far is good. If I can get the brake issue figured I will give it more stars. ... show more

I LOVE THIS BIKE. IT IS PERFECT FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE HANDLE BARS DO NOT RAISE. I HAVE LONG LEGS AND NEED THE SEAT RAISED BUT THE HANDLE BARS DO NOT RAISE TO COMPENSATE FOR THE SEAT RAISING SO I HAVE TO LEAN OVER WHICH IS UNCOMFORTABLE.     • Brake and Battery Issue

Ive used this bike for about 5 months now and have put around 450 miles on the bike. The battery does not last as long as they say it does and the brakes are sketchy at best.
