I have a chihuahua/pomeranian mix and a shitzu. It took around 1 hour to assemble. We'll worth the purchase for the pThis outdoor dog kennel provides ample space for small breeds. The assembly process was straightforward and took approximately one hour to complete. The materials seem durable and weather-resistant. The secure lock provides peace of mind. Overall, it was a worthwhile purchase for the price.

I wanted something to convert into a sturdy catio as my wooden one slammed into my fire pit and crumpled into pieces during high winds. This is sturdy and easy to assemble. I put some plastic chicken wire between the cage and the roof crest so my cats couldn't climb out as the tarp is the only roof. Unfortunately the tarp ripped in high winds in only a few months so I had to cover with an additional tarp. I found this will slide easily across my deck in high winds so I had to bungee cord it to the railing and put an outdoor rug underneath as there are no caps on the feet and it initially scratched my deck. The only other downside is that the latch can be tricky at times and there are no caps on the bolts so I had to purchase separately to prevent injury to my pets. It was a reasonable price for the quality. I had to watch the video on the product page to assist with assembly as the instructions can be a bit vague.

I got this cage so my dog would have more room when I have to go into the office. It was a heavy box the delivery man needed a hand truck. Keep that in mind if you live in an apartment or place with stairs. I put it up in my living room,I'm not worried about interior design right now. I did it by laying the pieces flat and using the toggles for the tarp roof to hold it together temporarily while I tighten the bolts. Because it's in my house I didn't bother putting the top bars and cover on. I'm 5'11 and the cage comes up to my shoulders. My dog is 72 lbs and there is enough room for a bed, food and water spot and bathroom area if necessary. I used 24x24 inch foam pads for flooring 6 should cover the floor completely, I currently have 4 and a piece of laminate. I'm sure if someone broke in the house he could get out cause he's sassy like that...but I'm comfortable leaving him 6-8hrs at a time and he can't knock it over and get out willy nilly. You can put the door whenever you need to I put mine on the longer side instead of where the pic shows. It's a really good buy and puts my mind at ease when I need to be gone for long periods of time.

So from the description and appearance I thought a Rottweiler of 6 months of age could handle being in here, nope. The puppy is maybe 60-70lbs and moved the ENTIRE cage like it was not even there, every time we placed him inside. We would come home and find the entire cage displaced in a different location with him luckily still inside and unharmed. He was also able to get to the straps that hold the canvas down and destroy those. I am sure this cage is fine for a smaller dog not capable of moving the cage or reaching the straps, but a buyer should beware that this cage is not really adequate for dogs larger than 30-40lbs

We currently have a doggie door in our kitchen that went to a dog lot. However after hurricane Helene., it was not secure. We needed something temporary until the heavy equipment can come and grade the lad beside the house so we can make a big place for our doggies to go poo. I saw this on Amazon and bought the biggest one. It is well made and feels like it’s durable. We opened the back end and butted it up to our doggie door so the babies could go out and be in a secure area. We also loved the canopy that came with it but decided to add an additional tarp to ensure the little darlings don’t get wet, nor does the shavings we use in the pen. We have 2-rescue yorkies, 1-rescue beagle, and a crazy 7-month old Great Dane that LOVES TO DIG. It took her 5 minutes to dig the Mariana Trench so everyone could escape…. Therefore, we quickly went to Lowe’s and bought heavy concrete pavers to line the floor of the pen and then put shavings down. She can NOT dig out now and it’s worked beautifully. My husband wanted to get another one but I opted to wait. Very happy and super affordable.
