This was my first attempt to do my own shellac nails and I'm impressed. They came out looking pretty good for a first timer. The packaging was neat and organized. There are a lot of extra tools and jewels to give your toes or nails done really cute designs. I haven't tried it out on mine yet. I did a base coat plus 2 color coats, one sparkle coat, and one top coat. I think I did about 120 sec in the uv light in between each coat. All in all, it took me about 1 hour and 15 min from prepping to taking photos, which isn't bad because I was doing one foot at a time to make sure I didn't mess up the other one. I do have an electric drill that I use to buff my nails and cuticles. I recommended getting one of you don't because I think it really speeds up the process. It also helped buff off the the extra paint around the cuticles and anywhere else I made a mess. Mine was about $30 here on Amazon. It's in the pics if you wanna know which kind I bought. It's called a Dannary nail drill. I tried to wipe off any errors as I went, and while it's wet, it's really easy to get off. After I cured the last top coat, I used the sharp metal drill bit to clean up anything that I didn't like and it worked really well. I applied the cuticle oil provided in the box and it was all done! I am curious to know how long they will last. I will do an update, but so far, it's been 2 days and no chipping or peeling. Oh! And the colors are exactly what is shown. They are very beautiful and vibrant. I have seen in other reviews that the UV light doesn't work all the way, but mine works just fine. I would highly recommend this product because it saved me time of going to the salon, spending the $60-$90 I usually spend every time I go, and I can do it at home when I have free time. Doing my own toes once paid for the entire product and then some!

I always appreciate well-made beauty kits, and the Beetles Gel Nail Polish Kit definitely has a lot to offer. After trying it out, I wanted to share an honest and detailed review to help others decide if it's the right fit for them.First off, the color selection is stunning so many vibrant and trendy shades to choose from. It’s perfect for experimenting with different styles. However, I was surprised by how small the polish bottles are. They’re much smaller than standard sizes, so keep that in mind if you're expecting full bottles. That said, everything else in the kit is impressive. The UV light is compact but works really well, curing the polish evenly and quickly. The gel base and top coats are high quality, giving a smooth, long-lasting finish. I also loved the inclusion of cuticle tools such a thoughtful bonus that made the whole at-home manicure experience feel more complete.Overall, this is a great value for beginners and anyone looking to do gel nails at home. If the polish bottles were a bit larger, it would easily be a 5-star kit!

I've always wanted to be able to do my own nails because I have a deformed finger and always get asked about it at salons (it gets awkward). So, decided I was going to test out gel polish mainly because I was getting tired of waiting for regular polish to dry and it end up getting messed up anyways because I didn't wait long enough. So... I looked and looked then saw how amazing the price was for this kit + how many polishes you get with it. I already had my own lamp so this kit worked great for me! It's easy to use, even comes with instructions. It also came with a file and buffer which work amazingly. I love the array of different colors, it makes it so easy to get creative. The gel sticks super strong onto the nail (I've only testing it on fake nails so far) and I haven't had any problems with peeling. Overall I enjoyed this kit very much and definitely think it's worth it! The bottles may look small but there is actually a good amount of polish in there and is good for multiple uses! The colors are great and it's all super easy to cure, depending on design, you could be able to paint your nails in less than an hour!

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this gel nail polish kit! The packaging felt organized and beginner friendly, with everything I needed neatly organized in the box. You don’t need more than two coats for most colors. The curing process with the lamp was quick, and I love that the finish is professional looking, just like a salon manicure. I like it a little more thick to almost look like acrylics, even though they are my natural nails. This kit is such great value for how many colors and items you get with it. It's so much fun!!

This product has been a great way for me to have gels nails that look and feel like salon quality. The color selection and great and the cuticle cutter alone is worth the purchase. However, the polish only lasts on my nails for about a week, and I was hopeful for closer to two weeks. It starts to peel at the edges and gets caught in my hair which drives me crazy. But I continue to use it because how good it looks and it saves me a lot of money at the salon.
