I have this heater in a 55 gallon tank. I've had it about a month and I'm very happy. When I do a water change, I'm impressed by how fast this heater brings the water back up to temp. The display is large, clear, and intuitive - easy to adjust. The display box is a little on the large side and looks a little crazy suctioned to the tank. I just hung mine on the wall next to the tank and that works for me. Also, I'm sure we've all done this, but sometimes I change my water and forget to unplug my heater. I've ruined heaters with that simple mistake. I love that this has a safety and will shut off if it the water level gets too low. The price is hard to beat. With all the functionality, I was actually a little concerned that it was TOO cheap. But the heater has proved to be fantastic. I have no idea about the ultimate life of the heater because I've only had it a month. So far, this seems to be an excellent purchase.

This is an awesome heater, the best I have ever used. This heater is solid built, very accurate and straight forward. The digital control is great, no more sticking hands in tank to adjust temperature. Set it at 78 and the water stays at 78 in my 55 gallon tank. I have an additional thermometer opposite side of tank and it is spot on. This heater replaced my marineland and by far blows it out of water with accuracy. Very pleased so far with the performance, I highly recommend this heater……

Fantastic tank heater, this is my first heater where i can see my set temp and water temp on the digital unit. Came with extra suction cups and after shopping around, found this to be a great value for the price. Blends in perfectly with my Oceanic Tank ambiance. Hope this one out performs my old tank heaters.

I bought this for my RES turtle tank. Our turtles are large and tend to knock them off when suctioned to the wall, so I let the heater lay on the bottom of the tank. It can also be put in the reservoir heating tank if you have one. It replaced an old very large original heater and the smaller heaters that don't last very long. I put a strong flexible wire on the thermostat to hang over the tank side. It's nice to be able to view the temp of the tank and has so far been consistent with the thermometer. I've been using this for a few months and so far it's working great, especially during the winter months.
