This bed is very nice. I was a bit worried initially about buying it but it turned out to be a good choice for our spare bedroom. Firstly, it was very easy to put together. Instructions were clear, easy to follow and complete. Screws were in a sealed, nicely organized package with an Allen wrench. However, we used a drill which turned out to be faster and more efficient way to put it together. Secondly, overall appearance of the bed is good. I don’t have a mattress yet for it but the frame looks sturdy. Thirdly, materials were reasonably nice quality, however, I would say that head and foot board material are not what I would classify as velvet. The fabric appears soft though and comfy looking. Lastly, I would say that overall it was a good purchase.

This bed was such a pleasant surprise! Honestly, we waited two days after it arrived before putting it together because we weren’t sure we could handle assembling such a large bed ourselves. But as long as you carefully follow the pictures and instructions, it’s much easier than it looks. We had also packed away all our tools during the move and had no idea where they were. Then I saw another review mentioning that tools were included, so we decided to give them a try. Surprisingly, the small tools that came in the box were all we needed, and the assembly went pretty quickly. I was especially impressed by how well everything is designed and packaged. It’s amazing that all the parts for a king-size bed fit into such a compact box. Everything lines up perfectly as long as you follow the instructions. Two tips: First, don’t fully tighten the screws at the beginning. Just loosely secure everything first, similar to assembling IKEA furniture, and tighten all the screws once everything is properly aligned. Second, make sure you open the correct side of the box! We accidentally opened it from the bottom, so we couldn’t take the parts out in the intended order, which made assembly a little more complicated. We were impressed throughout the whole process and felt so accomplished when we finished. Most importantly, after sleeping on it for a few days, the bed feels comfortable, sturdy, and solid. We’ve already recommended it to several friends who are moving. For the price, quality, and look, this is exactly what we wanted. We finally have our own king-size bed!
