What a great idea for burnishing! I just got back into leatherwork after a 30-year hiatus and stumbled upon these while browsing Amazon. I use my dog toenail Dremel and it's the perfect speed for this purpose. The green tips are like a super fine sandpaper and they are perfect if your edge has some imperfections and for shaping. The wood ones burnish to a nice smooth finish. I use water to treat the edge first, then use the Dremel. The box is really nice for storing them, too. I couldn't be happier with this set!

They work great in a Dremel type tool or Foredom handpiece. Higher RPM seems to do a better job.

These bits work super well. The best part of the bits are the green bits. They work like a very fine grit sandpaper. They leave the edge nice and smooth. I have been using them on some bags I'm making and they finish off the project making nice edges. I can't wait for the new version as well.
