Description

The PX1 UST Projector features the award-winning, triple-laser TriChroma laser engine to achieve full coverage of the BT.2020 color space for a true-to-life picture. With Variable Focus, the PX1 delivers a razor-sharp 4K image in sizes from 90 to 130-inches. With premium features like eARC for lossless audio, Filmmaker Mode, and Auto Low Latency Mode, the PX1 is an Ultra Short Throw projector brimming with immersive entertainment potential. TriChroma really is R, G, B-eautiful. The PX1 uses pure red, green, and blue lasers to achieve new levels of color performance, reaching 107% of the BT.2020 color space--that's color you've never seen on a display before. Get ready to take movie night, your next streaming binge, or gaming with the boys to a whole new level. 4K Ultra HD brings over 8 million pixels to create incredible clarity across an extra-large projection. High Dynamic Range expands color and contrast so you can enjoy a stunningly vibrant picture with incredible depth and detail. At 2000 Lumens peak brightness, the PX1 has plenty of output to faithfully recreate sparkling highlights, punchy colors, and deep blacks. While a good performer in any space when paired with an ALR screen, the PX1 looks best in a darkened room with lighting control.

  • Amazing projector for the price
Style: PX2-PRO Size: 90"-130"
Perfect picture and amazing brightness. Setup for a fixed screen is a touch tricky. You may not be able to use the auto keystone setup. But the 8 point manual keystone works well. Plan a couple hours for optimum screen coverage, and then the programming setup. This is not just plug and play. Take your time and you will be amazed with the performance of the unit when you're done. I can't rave enough about the picture and sound. Even though I now have mine hooked into my JBL surround sound unit. ... show more

  • Best Projector
Style: PX2-PRO Size: 90"-130"
Writing this review after 50 days of use. This is my first TV projector which I am using in basement and it is great experience. I am using directly on white painted wall without ALR screen. Ordered special projector screen paint for wall from Amazon (approximately $186.00 with tax). Set up was very easy, just to put few inches in front of wall and move it in proper direction to get appropriate picture size on the wall. The quality of picture is great in low light area. It has Film-Maker mode in picture setting and it gives theater like experience. Remote control has short cut for Picture setting and Audio setting which is helpful to easily change appropriate picture and audio setting without closing current program. This projector is for low light area. I wouldn’t recommend this projector if there is lot of lights in room or for outdoor. Sound from is good enough for my basement but I am using external soundbar (from Sony 2.1 channel with inbuilt subwoofer). I would suggest using external soundbar and/or speaker system to improve sound experience. Dolby atoms sound is great using external soundbar/sound system. It has eARC port for easy connection for external sound system. It doesn’t have advanced Wi-Fi 6, 6e or 7 but has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) which is more than enough to watch movies, sports and TV show over Google TV. I needed to buy Wi-Fi extender (TP-Link Wi-Fi range extender, approximately $139.00 with tax from Best Buy) to get better Wi-Fi signal in basement. It would be great this projector has Wi-Fi 6, 6e or 7. It has Google TV and it has all the apps I needed including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, ESPN, You Tube and Tablo TV. Some apps require download which is easy with Google account. It does not have TV Tuner which I don’t need it and I don’t miss it. Now, many Apps are available to watch local channels for free and Apps availability for local channels will improve in future. Great and quick customer service experience from the dealer for price adjustment. One problem I have noticed is this projector turns on itself on some nights and I haven’t figured out to fix this problem yet. Not sure if this is a bug which may require software update. I need to make sure to plug it out at night to prevent turning it on itself. ... show more

  • Impressive picture and quality. Skip the theater and stay home with this quality.
Style: PX2-PRO Size: 90"-130"
Setup is a little frustrating, but overall this laser TV is amazing. Looks like a real TV picture. If the house was on fire, I would grab this before getting out.

  • Would be great, but...
Style: PX1-PRO Size: 90"-130"
By all accounts this would be a 5 star review, picture was nice. But when I set up my new projector, the first thing I noticed was the red color is below the blue and green giving a shadow effect. I went through all the settings, and there was nothing to correct this issue, so I contacted Hisense, and they opened a ticket, H2600058. They acknowledged the issue, and contacted me every other day saying my case was under review. Just after my return window closed with Amazon, they contacted me and said they will not resolve my issue, future models will be fixed, but not mine. I paid $2800 for mine, and expected more from them. So if you decide to buy a Hisense projector, and the picture looks like mine does, I HIGHLY HIGHLY, recommend returning it under Amazon’s return policy, because Hisense does not care about the customer after the purchase. ... show more

  • Hard to setup but amazing especially for a large theatre sized room.
Style: PX1 Size: 90"-130"
The Hisense PX1 is an amazing UST laser projector, however, like all projectors, they do not perform well in well lit environments. The blacks are nice but nothing like an Oled so if you are looking for that do not buy this. HDR on this is not implemented well, colors look washed out and blacks look grey, however, highlights pop very well just be sure to purchase a cine grey screen. This projector needs to sit at least 12 3/4 inches away from the wall for 100” and has to be at least 15” from the bottom of the image to the surface of your stand. Getting the projector perfectly aligned to the screen using the feet nobs is the most frustrating things about this projector. The long throw epson 4010 or 5050ub is perfect, can be placed virtually anywhere and you can use the remote to perfectly position the image. Yes they are two different technologies of projector but are still projectors that serve different purposes. If you are okay with fiddling with this UST projector until you brain melts then you are better than me, I’m gonna get the perfectly aligned and beautifully pictured LG OLED, you can just set it up and go, no need for all the extra crap with this UST. Anyway, trial and error here, wanted to try something new and it just did not work for me but it may work for you I’m gonna stick with the OLED for now and then get a long throw epson projector or equivalent in the future for my dedicated cinema room. Hope this review helped. ... show more
