  • ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT !!!!!
Size: 55 Inch
WOW !!!!!! What an incredible piece of equipment. The picture quality is beyond SUPERB. This is the best sounding TV going. I have a super HIGH END sound system comprised of a full DBX 18" 4way speakers system with 2 DBX powered subwoofers & a pair of vintage Allison theater speakers & 2 Akai 6 speaker with 8" downfacing subwoofers enclosures. All in all, I have 38 speakers to blast away with. Movies become quite an experience as I have a super graphics card which enhances not only the video, but the sound also. The 144hz refresh rate is so sharp I'm considering seat belts for my lounge chair. It took me awhile to figure out the new formats variations but I finally got it down. It got here 2 days BEFORE the ETA. ( I have another 55" Hisense in my bedroom. ) I already think that this is the best buy for my money that I've ever spent for a TV. I bought it after reading oodles of reviews. I tried looking for a negative review but couldn't find one. All I found were 5 star ratings. On a scale of Ten, this is a 100. So far I can't praise this enough. This set replaced the LG 55" as it started dropping signals like a cell phone. I just can't say enough as this is the best buy for the money. KUDOS HISENSE/ UPDATE 9/24/2023/ Have returned 4 following reasons: Last Thursday it stopped receiving antenna (DTV) signals on all channels. Went to channel scan & it would only accept 12 of the 39 available channels. Then started going off & on by itself. The remote then began to not operate correctly. I could not activate voice command. It does not accept my $4000+ PC which I just built. Went to troubleshoot, but it would not respond. Could not access the eManual. There's nothing wrong with Hisense, Just this particular TV. Will get another one next month ... show more

  • Hard to fault the product and the next day delivery!!
Size: 75 Inch
First things first. Turn off the "energy saver" function, if you do not the picture will look bad. Next thing I must say is the purchase and NEXT DAY delivery was one of the most pleasant buying experiences I have had in my 83 yrs ! This is a first impressions not a full review that will follow later. I was a little disappointed when I first set the TV up and start looking at the picture. Looked good mind you be not "WOW' good if you get my drift. Did a search on YouTube and read a lot of reviews and tried various recommend set ups until I hit "FOMO" s review on this set. The guy looks a little out there but after you have put a few hours on your set follow his set recommended you will join the "WOW" club. Keep in mind what your payed for this TV when I say this but putting that aside I am still a very happy camper. I was reluctant to buy this TV early on because of possible reliability issues but the latest CR reviews showed all the Hisenses had better than average reliability and the 2 year warranty allowed me to buy with confidence. One more thing. I wear hearing aids and the sound coming out of this TV is clear and very loud and there is even a little bass! Unless a "bug" bites this is a keeper. Get one, if your TV is like my example and you follow "FOMO" set up settings you will be "WOWED". I will do a update if this happens but Amazons 30 day return policy will be there if this should be the case. Update: Ran into a little shortcoming using the ARC function. Once activated I always had my Sony AV receiver activated when the TV was turned on. I find the TV sound system excellent for casual use and had to figure out how to disable the ARC system when I wanted and reactivate when needed. $ 4.00 for a small power strip with a rocker on and off switch solved the problem. When I kill the power to my AV receiver which is plugged into the power strip it deactivates the receiver and TV sound system is all that will output. When I want to fire up my receiver I just flip the power on switch on the power strip BEFORE turning the TV and when you turn on the TV your AV receiver will be activated. Problem solved. Still really happy with the picture on this TV but I made a couple of adjustment to brightness and contrast and made a great picture even better. Bottom line do not be afraid to fine tune your base line set up to compensate signal input quality and your "eyes". Update 3/12/24 My example of this TV has shown a gradual improvement in picture quality over the last 30 days. This is not unusual for hi tech electronic devices but in this case it was very noticeable. This would explain why people see a examples of a TV at a big box store that has had run time on it,buy one and are disappointed when the unbox their new TV and fire it up. So how does this effect my first impressions of this fine TV ? Note a bit it just makes my very positive first impressions all the more positive and frankly I have nothing negative to add to that. I would buy it again in a heart beat. 7/21/24 This has been one of the best TV's I have owned to date. This includes Sony.Samsung and JVC to name a few. Few glitches of any sort which was common with all the smart TV's I have owned. ... show more

Ok so long story short. This was the 3rd Tv I ordered from Amazon with the last 2 having defects. This one also had a little defect which was a small portion of dead pixels. I was going to send it back but Amazon offered me a partial refund so I decided to keep it. I went through some hassle with Hisense {Honestly not the easiest to work with} but eventually got a replacement tv through them and no more dead pixels. Now, having gone through 2 other Tvs and seeing how they are packaged, Hisense is smart. You have the frame that holds the LED to the Tv. The other Tvs had the peel off plastic that would actually pull on the frame when taking it off. This can lead to the monitor portion detaching from the Tv itself. Hisense completely avoids that and was actually pleased to see that. As mentioned I went through the headache of the customer service but in the end, what they offer for warranty is actually top notch. It is almost like a VIP thing in my humble opinion. They send a new Tv which 2 people are supposed to handle, get it put wherever it goes, turn it on, make sure everything is working, repackage your other one and take it off your hands. I believe they call it white glove service if I remember right. So that is super awesome, I won't comment about the company who didn't follow the rules on all of that but whatever. Now there are some quirks and this is where stars disappear. It has an automatic mode, where it turns off but is not completely off, that way it starts up fast and you can use voice commands. Well sometimes it is completely dark like it is off, then sometimes it is dark but glossy as if in a sleep mode so you can actually see that it is still on. Personally I do not know how it does one or the other. I know there is a setting for the automatic deal, and I haven't changed anything yet I don't know if I will get a completely dark screen or one emitting some light. The other quirk [doesn't happen often but enough to bug you] the tv and remote will not talk to eachother. I am not sure if it is app related or tv/remote related but sometime, granted rarely, you will try to go back to the main screen or screen before what you are on and the remote/tv is like no I will not do such a thing. You end up having to go to main screen button in order to get working again. Lastly, 2 things that I personally hate very much and as far as I know is not app related, first is aspect ratio, you cannot change aspect ratios so some times you have those black bars on the top and bottom. What is the point in having a bigger tv to have black bars? Second is when looking for a show or movie to watch. It will auto play the trailers or beginning of the show/movie that it is on when you are roaming through movies. So in other words if say on netflix and the first thing that you move the selection to without selecting it will start playing, you press arrow right or down or whatever and next thing that it is on will start auto playing. It really gets under my nerves as im trying to scroll through to find something to watch. I have not figured out how to get rid of that as of yet. Other than all of that the Tv is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is vivid, you have to do a little fine tuning so things do not blur on you. But once you have it setup, it is very lifelike and a beautiful screen. The sounds is also pretty awesome if you ask me. No need for a sound bar or anything. Has a little built in bass speaker and it gets plenty loud. All the apps are fast and responsive unless you get the tv/remote glitch. You do not need a media streamer. So all in all, very worth it in my opinion. ... show more
