  • Love it.
Size: 75 Inch
I have an 85 qn95b Samsung in my living room and I love it, so I was reluctant to purchase my first Hisense tv for the bedroom. I researched and finally decided I. The 75u7k, it was between that and the 75u8k, but I’m really happy with the U7k tv, it is being, has good viewing angles and the sound is really good. I mounted mine to the wall, and there’s a setting for the speakers for wall mount, but it did not sound as good, so I turned the wall mount speaker switch off and it sounds much better. I played with the settings some and turned off ambient mode and motion smoothing and it just a really nice tv. If my living tv went out I’d buy the 86” U8k but for the bedroom and honestly for most living rooms the U7k is an excellent choice. I plan to buy a 75u7k for my parents for Christmas and I think from now on I’ll be buying Hisense tvs over any other brand. Great deal, gateway picture and even my wife loves it. No regrets with this purchase. They only had one 65” U7k on display at best buy and it looked really bad they said they had it on a standard definition station and could not locate a remote to hcg Abe it, that almost kept me from ordering this tv from Amazon but all the videos showed this tv next to the U8k and they looked almost the same, so I’m glad I trusted the videos and not the Best Buy display, because this tv is bright and looks great. ... show more

  • Real nice tv at good price!- 75" screen
Size: 75 Inch
Only been watching tv for few hours, but i am impressed. Has decent sound that goes loud, probly as good as any cheap sound bar! Old TV sound was getting pretty bad, had to almost had to use CC to catch all dialog. This one, dialog is clear as bell! Real decent picture, coming from 2017 Samsung middle of road tv, would give it 9 out of 10. Old SD stuff some of it looks bad, but some of it[even black&white] looks real good. Large tv probly is harder to get SD to look good. HD OTA stuff looks real good, like the ATSC 3.0 tuner, works real good, have half a dozen of those stations, kinda nice cause the picture doesn't pixelate like the reg OTA stations do. As far as complaints on viewing angle, can get 45 degrees from center before picture dims down some, [this is 75" tv] not seen it to be a problem. TV is easy to set up as regular OTA TV, gets better reception than old Samsung it replaced. We'll see how it lasts, but 9 out of 10 right now! ... show more

  • An Honest Review by Brandon
Size: 65 Inch
Ok so long story short. This was the 3rd Tv I ordered from Amazon with the last 2 having defects. This one also had a little defect which was a small portion of dead pixels. I was going to send it back but Amazon offered me a partial refund so I decided to keep it. I went through some hassle with Hisense {Honestly not the easiest to work with} but eventually got a replacement tv through them and no more dead pixels. Now, having gone through 2 other Tvs and seeing how they are packaged, Hisense is smart. You have the frame that holds the LED to the Tv. The other Tvs had the peel off plastic that would actually pull on the frame when taking it off. This can lead to the monitor portion detaching from the Tv itself. Hisense completely avoids that and was actually pleased to see that. As mentioned I went through the headache of the customer service but in the end, what they offer for warranty is actually top notch. It is almost like a VIP thing in my humble opinion. They send a new Tv which 2 people are supposed to handle, get it put wherever it goes, turn it on, make sure everything is working, repackage your other one and take it off your hands. I believe they call it white glove service if I remember right. So that is super awesome, I won't comment about the company who didn't follow the rules on all of that but whatever. Now there are some quirks and this is where stars disappear. It has an automatic mode, where it turns off but is not completely off, that way it starts up fast and you can use voice commands. Well sometimes it is completely dark like it is off, then sometimes it is dark but glossy as if in a sleep mode so you can actually see that it is still on. Personally I do not know how it does one or the other. I know there is a setting for the automatic deal, and I haven't changed anything yet I don't know if I will get a completely dark screen or one emitting some light. The other quirk [doesn't happen often but enough to bug you] the tv and remote will not talk to eachother. I am not sure if it is app related or tv/remote related but sometime, granted rarely, you will try to go back to the main screen or screen before what you are on and the remote/tv is like no I will not do such a thing. You end up having to go to main screen button in order to get working again. Lastly, 2 things that I personally hate very much and as far as I know is not app related, first is aspect ratio, you cannot change aspect ratios so some times you have those black bars on the top and bottom. What is the point in having a bigger tv to have black bars? Second is when looking for a show or movie to watch. It will auto play the trailers or beginning of the show/movie that it is on when you are roaming through movies. So in other words if say on netflix and the first thing that you move the selection to without selecting it will start playing, you press arrow right or down or whatever and next thing that it is on will start auto playing. It really gets under my nerves as im trying to scroll through to find something to watch. I have not figured out how to get rid of that as of yet. Other than all of that the Tv is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is vivid, you have to do a little fine tuning so things do not blur on you. But once you have it setup, it is very lifelike and a beautiful screen. The sounds is also pretty awesome if you ask me. No need for a sound bar or anything. Has a little built in bass speaker and it gets plenty loud. All the apps are fast and responsive unless you get the tv/remote glitch. You do not need a media streamer. So all in all, very worth it in my opinion. ... show more
