Given the price point, this is a decent TV. I guess I just thought since I hadn’t bought a new one in 8 years the picture would somehow blow me away. My 8 year old Sony Bravia is still in a storage unit waiting to be shipped so I got this on Prime Day. Perhaps I need to play with the settings more, but thus far I prefer the picture on my old Bravia. I first tried it with the native Fire TV settings, then with an older 4k Roku stick, then finally I dug the Apple TV out of moving boxes. I have to say the picture was markedly better even with the Roku stick. Of course much better once streaming through the Apple TV device. It’s perfectly fine, but I’m currently watching a 4k movie I’ve seen before on my old TV and the picture and colors simply aren’t as good. I have it in “filmmaker” mode for the picture, so perhaps I just need to play around with it more. Don’t get me wrong—for the price point it’s a great TV. I suppose I thought the QLED would make more of a difference, and that tech would have advanced a little more in 8 years. This is a much less expensive machine than a Sony Bravia, so that adage is true—you get what you pay for. And for $350? It’s an outstanding TV. But for a better picture, use a higher end streaming device.

This is honestly the best TV I've ever owned. I was a bit skeptical because I've never owned Hisense TV before, but upon further research it was revealed they made TV's for Sharp and Toshiba. Two brands I've owned so I felt comfortable. All that aside, the images produced by this TV are amazing. I'm still impressed by the way the colors pop and the crispiness of the image. I have an X Box series X and it has made the console an entirely new experience for me. At this price, you can't go wrong. Most TV's with a refresh rate over 60 are going for much more. This TV has top notch performance and is easy to connect to any streaming service.

Setting up the Hisense 55" QD7 Series Mini-LED TV was a breeze, and once it powered on, I was immediately impressed. The Mini-LED with full array local dimming makes a huge difference — blacks look deep without washing out the brights, and there's almost no haloing even during high-contrast scenes. Watching movies and sports feels incredibly lifelike, with every tiny detail popping right off the screen. The QLED color really stands out too. Colors are rich and vibrant without looking overly saturated — greens, reds, and blues all feel natural and sharp. Dolby Vision support adds even more depth and detail, and combined with Dolby Atmos, it made movie nights way more immersive. Even the built-in speakers weren't bad for casual viewing, though obviously not home-theater level. Gaming was another huge win here. Game Mode Plus and the support for variable refresh rates and low latency made playing smooth and lag-free. I tested it with both a PS5 and Xbox, and everything from fast shooters to open-world adventures looked sharp and felt responsive, with no noticeable screen tearing. Overall, this TV punches far above its price tag. If you’re looking for incredible color, great performance for gaming and streaming, and a true home theater vibe without spending a fortune, this Hisense model is absolutely worth it. It feels like you're getting flagship features at a fraction of the cost.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase of the Mini LED QD7 4K UHD Smart Fire TV in the massive 85” size. This TV is absolutely stunning in every way from picture quality to smart features and it has completely transformed my living room into a full fledged home theater. Let’s start with the picture quality: it’s simply jaw dropping. The 4K resolution delivers incredibly sharp, clear images and the Mini LED technology provides exceptional contrast and brightness. The blacks are deep and inky, while the whites are bright and crisp. What really blew me away was the Quantum Dot (QD7) color technology. The colors are vivid, accurate and incredibly lifelike. Whether I’m watching a movie, sports or gaming, everything looks dynamic and immersive. Fast action scenes are smooth and fluid with no noticeable motion blur. The size 85 inches is perfect for creating that big screen experience at home. It feels like I’m at the movies, especially with the excellent audio that comes built in. The sound is surprisingly rich and powerful for a flat screen, though I did add a soundbar for an even fuller surround effect. Another huge plus is the built in Fire TV smart platform. The interface is fast, responsive and incredibly user friendly. With Alexa voice control built in, I can switch inputs, open apps, adjust volume and even control smart home devices just by speaking. Streaming is seamless with all the major apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and more ready to go out of the box. The Wi Fi connection is solid with no buffering even when streaming in 4K. Setup was surprisingly easy for such a large TV. Two people are definitely needed to lift and position it but once it’s up, it looks sleek and modern, with ultra thin bezels that make the display feel even more expansive. Included stand is sturdy and the wall mount compatibility is a great option if you prefer a cleaner look. One of my favorite features is the customizable picture and sound modes. Whether I’m watching sports, a movie or playing on my PS5, I can switch to the best settings with just a click. The Game Mode especially makes a noticeable difference low input lag and ultra smooth gameplay. Energy efficiency is another bonus. For such a large screen, it doesn’t seem to consume too much power, and it has helpful eco settings to optimize energy usage. In short, this Mini LED QD7 85” Smart Fire TV is a fantastic investment. It offers premium performance, outstanding image quality, smart features and the wow factor of an 85" screen, all at a price that’s very reasonable for what you’re getting. I couldn’t be happier with it and everyone who visits my home is equally impressed. If you’re thinking about upgrading your entertainment setup, don’t hesitate, this TV is absolutely worth it.
