UPDATE: I originally purchased the 55 inch which my review for that is below but have since then purchased the 75 inch and it is absolutely fantastic. No dark smearing due to the 75 using an ADS-PRO panel which is an IPS panel with better contrast and black levels. The motion handling is also better on this panel as well. Mine does have some slight IPS glow in top right and left corner but it is not noticeable at all unless you're testing for it. The 75 is also noticeably louder due to the extra 10 watts in the speakers. As stated in my review below the 55, 65, and 85 inch all use VA panels which are notorious for dark/black smearing during dark and fast scenes so if you're a gamer this will be noticeable depending on your sensitivity to it. Extremely happy with the 75 inch and in my opinion if you have the room this is the best size to go for. ATTENTION GAMERS Before I get into my overall impressions of the tv it is important to note that anyone using this tv primarily for gaming like myself should be aware that every model with the exception of the 75 inch, use a VA panel. This is important because while VA panels have the best contrast ratios and deep blacks, they also suffer from slower response times leading to slower transitions from dark to grey pixels which causes Dark Smearing. This also happens during movies and tv as well just not as noticeable. This isn't a Hisense issue nor is it an issue with your unit, this issue is common among VA panels from all brands. The cheaper ones tend to be a little worse than the higher end brands though. Hiw noticeable this is will vary from game to game and depend on how sensitive you are to it. I will warn you though, once you see it you will not be able to unsee it so if you have no idea what dark smearing is or what it looks like I very highly advise you not to look into it. Another issue that is this particular model is something called Overshoot. This issue is a little more rare than the dark smearing as it tends to only occur when the refresh rate sits around 100hz, this issue can easily be remedied by turning off VRR or capping your framerate if available. As for Dark Smearing, unfortunately there is no fix for it. Things you can do to help mitigate it are making sure vrr is disabled and cap the framerate at 60. The higher the refresh rate the more noticeable the dark smearing will be. Another thing you could do is adjust the black level so that the dark pixels aren't as dark, however this defeats the purpose of a VA as you won't have those deep blacks anymore. Each panel type has its pros and cons so it's important to research these prior to your purchase. For me personally i only notice the smearing if I'm panning the camera slowly in games, when playing normally it isn't really noticeable. As I mentioned earlier the 75 inch uses an ADS PRO panel which will have slightly worse contrast than the VA models but won't have the smearing issues either. Bought the 55 inch version this tv back in December for $478 and it's an absolute steal at that price. Colors are great, contrast is great and the picture quality is fantastic. The thing i think that surprised me the most about this tv was the sound quality, it has a 40w sub in the back of the tv that sounds great especially when using content that supports Dolby Atmos. Now it won't beat a decent surround sound system but you absolutely don't need that at all. You get every HDR feature with this tv, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+ so no matter what you'll always get the best possible picture quality regardless of the content you're using it for. I've seen some reviews mention things like the backlight turning off and on and the settings not saving etc. First off make sure everything under the General category in picture settings is off, especially automatical light sensor and intelligent scene as these are what causes the backlight to automatically change brightness.As for the settings not saving make sure to check what the source is for all the content you're using. For example, some content is Dolby Vision while some is just HDR10, you'll need to set the picture settings for each of these different sources as the TV will change to these once it detects them. As far as the operating system goes I've had 0 issues with any lagginess or freezing. A great tip though is to go into the device assistant and use the memory cleaner to free up RAM, as the higher the usage the slower and less responsive the TV will become. I highly suggest going into the settings, then advanced system and turning on Turbo Mode as it will take care of this for the most part for you. My unit didn't have any issues on arrival, no noticeable dse and the package wasn't damaged at all. For this price point this tv can't be beat. Only real "negative" of this tv is that the viewing angles are absolutely horrible. The more at an angle you are the more washed out the image becomes, this isn't an issue for me as I'm always directly in front of the tv but if you have multiple people watching a movie etc and they're at an angle the picture quality will be worse for them. Other than that I'm extremely pleased with this tv.

Excellent television, great picture, easy to setup and it has numerous features within the operating system. I and my family are truly enjoying this television. My son enjoys playing his video games on it. It does wonders for xBox and PS5 games. I like the GoogleTV smart operating system as it remembers all of my settings to my numerous streaming apps and programs. I like the that Hisense truly stands behind their products. My television started actibng erradically and the screen started to BLINK on and of the picture turned ghostly white. I conducted a lot of factory data resets with no success to clearing the program. I called Hisense warranty office and after going through a number of computer prompts I spoke to an actual person who asked me to take a picture of the damaged screen, serial number and my receipt proving my purchase date. I was awareded a case number after my accessment and I was approved. HiSense scheduled a technician to repair my TV and miled and FedEx the parts that would be needed to correct the problem. Afterwards, the television works good as new. I amvery pleased with my purchase and I am extremely happy that I decided to go with this brand. I would highly reccomend any Hisense model because of the quality and the excellent warranty service to back up their products. i plan to purchase another Hisense television in the future. UX 110' TV here I come. EXCELLENTE! NOTE: Please make sure you save the box the TV (and the materials enclosed) Is shipped in. This is because you may have to send it back for exchange for an replacement model.

(This is Valeris husband writing this review). 65" U7 Google TV. Let me start with the con, which I only found one of. Using a USB port and a 500 GB stick, formatted to EXFat, the TV gives an error and it doesn't list the files. Per the manual, it only likes FAT32. But, the same stick in a 2019 Roku Ultra box works fine. A bit of a strange thing was Casting from my Win11 laptop using WiFi, at first didn't work and the TV didn't show up on the list. But then fooling around with various settings and apps, I looked again later and there it was and worked fine. Now for the good, which there is much of. I highly recommend you go ot the Rtings website to read about all the details and how to calibrate many of the settings to improve the experience. Also download the manual for the TV as well from the Hisense website. One thing I had a challenge with was getting the Optical Audio output to work with my stereo. I called support and had a nice person who was patient. He didn't really know in depth but he did finally find someone who knew and pointed the specific way to set that up. In short, when you hit the gear symbol on the remote it brings up a more general settings page. You have to then choose the gear on the TV to get to the advanced settings where the options for audio outputs are. Probably could have got to that in about 10 seconds if I knew that. Then I found out today that instead of hitting the gear button, there is a Menu button at the bottom of the remote that shows the Audio Output and easily allow you to arrow up or down and select a different one. So on to the good, and I've literally only had the TV for 24 hours. Deliver guys contracted by Amazon were awesome. Not only did they set up the TV and made sure it was working correctly for the most part, they took away my old bad 60" TV and if I wanted to, they would have taken the box too. I decided to hang onto the box just in case something fails on it unpredictably. But hard to find a place to stow that huge box. The stand is excellent and solid. The picture is beautiful! I've never seen so many options in a Smart TV. The availability of Apps seems endless. In fact there was only one on my Roku Ultra that I couldn't find on the TV. Local Dimming is certainly one of the best features, but again, read the Rtings reviews, which, when compared to many of the lesser priced TVs, most don't have this level of features without paying twice as much for say a similar Sony. The sound is fantastic for an LED TV. The remote is a nicely sized with some mass to it remote that is simple enough yet enough complexity to make it very useful. Perhaps only missing the ability to turn on other devices. Such as my stereo, where I use it's remote. Also handy is voice commands talking to the remote with mic option held. You can also remove 99% of the apps you don't use. And a few that stay, you can move to the far right if you don't use it. And it's nice to organize them in order of personal importance with the Move feature. This TV also has optimaztion for Gaming, which I don't do but there you have it. I'm sure there are other features that I will eventually figure out. I also like the screensaver image that shows the time and weather after so many minutes. Be prepared to spend a ocuple of hours at least getting it all configured and calibrated the way you want it.

I'm loving my new TV! The display is a real standout - the picture is vibrant and bright, making it perfect for watching my favorite shows and movies. The delivery and unboxing experience was also top-notch, with the delivery team being courteous and respectful. They even took the time to carefully remove the TV from its packaging and let me inspect it for any damage. In terms of performance, the TV works flawlessly. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable, and I've had no issues with connectivity. However, I did notice a couple of minor issues. The search feature on the Home Screen could be improved, as it doesn't take into account the apps I'm logged in to or subscribed to. This means I have to navigate directly to the app to find what I'm looking for. Additionally, as someone who's used to the algorithm-driven recommendations on my old Amazon Fire Stick, I was a bit disappointed to find that this TV's suggestions aren't quite as strong. That being said, these are relatively minor complaints, and overall I'm really happy with my purchase. Pros: - Beautiful, vibrant display - Fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection - Great delivery and unboxing experience Cons: - Search feature could be improved to take into account logged-in apps - Algorithm-driven recommendations aren't as strong as some other devices Overall, I'd definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a solid, no-frills smart TV experience. First off, the last TV I got was a Samsung during Covid, so my TV game is like 4 years old and I feel like a LOT has changed since then. My previous TV, was a moderate-high quality Samsung. It's great. I love it. But this is not about that. I this 85" TV for my living room and this new, middle-low class TV is probably better than my 2021 TV, the picture quality is in point. 1500 peak nits, which means it's great for sunny rooms. It's great at any angle. And the options are limitless. I was worried that my Samsung soundbar and rear speakers were not going to work as good. But I was pleasantly surprised. They integrated using Optic cable just fine, and there's much less sound latency using the optical or HDMI pass through. I'm impressed with the picture quality, brightness, options, and I don't hate Google TV. Thought I do wish there was more options for privacy. I do not like to give away my data to a company who I paid money for their services. I feel like I'm paying them twice. I will dig into the google TV controls later and see what I can do. Warning though, be careful in your mount choice if you get the 85". This is right on the edge of width! I got the basic Echogear mount. I really love stupid basic sturdy mounts and they just do not make them like they used to. I'm giving this 4/5 as this is not a high end model. But it's fantastic for what it is and better than any 3 year TV!

Stay away from this product. This was easily one of the worst TVs we have ever purchased, combined with some of the worst customer service we have experienced. From the moment we opened the box, the setup process was confusing and unnecessarily complicated, with endless loops of settings and menu options. After finally getting everything connected, we discovered that the TV displayed video through HDMI but had no audio at all. To make matters worse, the picture quality was actually inferior to our 10-year-old LG television. We contacted technical support, which appears to be based in Texas, and spent nearly three hours dealing with AI bots followed by customer service representatives who were unable to solve the issue. Calls were repeatedly disconnected, forcing us to start over multiple times. We were also promised a callback from a supervisor, which never happened. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor product quality combined with unreliable customer support makes this impossible to recommend. Save your money and look elsewhere — there are far better options available.

This tv is awesome. And i mean seriously. i never write reviews but i had too on this piece of Art. and for the price?? they basically handed it to me for free. 4k at 60hz or 4k at 120hz for gaming or live sports so whatever you watch it works for you. Setup was fast and easy. i recommend 2 people to handle it. Connected quickly (depending on wifi speed). The Colors are fantastic. you can even change the saturation, the color hue. it has so many precise settings for the picture quality like motion clearness. Sharpness. For a tv to work at 4k 120hz it needs to be at least 55inches. This tv can also automatically detect what your watching or playing to enhance the quality. I was playing Call of duty and it enhanced it to 120hz. I was watching a movie that had IMAX and the tv switched to IMAX quality and IMAX sound quality. this tv is absolutely fantastic. i'm sure there are probably better tvs. but i'm so used to the regular old 1080p or Full HD tvs. That this tv feels like watching the future. If you have a bland regular 4k tv or a boring FULL HD 1080p TV, this NEW TV will Knock your socks off. feels like youre at a movie theater. So sit back, relax and enjoy your movies, shows,and live sports with a nice cold beverage and forget about life when you are immersed into this TV.
