  • This is the best of the inexpensive 4K monitors
Style: 50-Inch 2020 Model
The color is completely adjustable./ I am using it as a main monitor. It is one of the only HDMI TV's that work for a PC without needing another computer monitor connected. The color is adjustable enough to use for my needs. There are no physical buttons on the outside of the TV so do not lose the remote until you have a master remote. It has two issues you may dislike. The center of the screen is darker than the outside edges but contrast, brightness and back-light take care of the picture during shows, movies and the like. It may not work for a work monitor if you need video or photography accuracy but I am very pleased at the results since I paid peanuts for this thing. Text is crisp and it is true 4k somehow././. Next problem is it's use of USB thumb drives./ When the TV turns off, it dismounts the USB drive and then when it starts back up, the TV takes a very long time to recognize the drive - which causes lag in every other area of using the product. Even my remote was rendered useless during boot up from sleep or being turned off with the remote (which is actually not really off - it just sleeps and you have to turn it back on manually.) It updated one day after setting up the TV. I had no issues with it during the process. Unfortunately the update did not seem to make any difference in the behavior of the Actual problems I have noted above. Also the box and other advertising states that this is everything from 120Hz to 30Hz refresh but I have been unable to get any refresh rate beyond 30./ Windows 10 Pro shows 24P and 30Hz - that's it. The great is the Dolby vision works and the Atmos works. I use two channel and headphones mainly with this so headphone type matters a great deal. I have no idea how this will hold up to my everyday use./ I might update this after a year, or if it fails before that./ Otherwise assume I am happy with the purchase and cross your fingers for bios updates that fix USB connection and darkness in the middle of the screen./ I think they fixed the later with the newest version of this TV./ Thanks for reading, ... show more

  • Jury remains out on this purchase
Style: 50-Inch 2020 Model
Update as of 4/7/2021 - Hisense finally responded and a tech replaced the motherboard in this television today. I've upgraded my rating to a 3-star. The tech, who arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable, says he has 4 of these devices and none of them have given him a moment's trouble. I'm going to use the television and see if the board replacement solves the problem. If that is the case, then perhaps I merely got a bad unit. But, that doesn't negate their slow customer service. More updates to follow. My original review follows: DO NOT BUY - WARNING WILL ROBINSON! 1-star and I DO NOT RECOMMEND Hisense televisions. The H6570G I purchased in late November 2020 began to freeze within 2 months. The remote doesn’t work well in spite of battery changes. The sound is tinny. The TV changes apps unexpectedly even when the remote has not been touched for an extended period. And, their customer service is sketchy in responding. In e-mails to their customer service department, their advice was first a hard reset and then a factory reset. They were slow to respond each time, but after I let them know that the factory reset didn’t work, they’ve been completely unresponsive (via e-mail or phone) for 10 days. Their next step was to be a technician visit, but they have not tried to arrange that. They have refused to refund my purchase from the very first contact. My concern is that even if they send a technician who manages to solve the problem, how do I know that in another two months the problem won't recur? I mentioned this in one of my e-mails to customer service. His/her response, “We cannot guarantee that the issue may not persist however if does while you are under your manufacturers warranty we ask that you contact us. If your warranty has ended you will be required to contact a local technician for assistance or if you have purchase extended warranty you will be required to contact your extended warranty provider.” No willingness to even consider a refund! At the time of this post, 3/28/2021, I'm only just barely 4 months into my 1-year warranty period, so there is no doubt that Hisense should take responsibility. I’m going to continue to attempt a repair or refund and will post updates, good or bad, as that process continues. In the meanwhile, buyer beware! ... show more

  • No Power button on TV
Style: 50-Inch 2020 Model
Updated 1 day after Manufacturers warranty expired. (Was plugged into surge protector.) TV would not turn on. Totally black screen. The power is controlled only by remote. No "off/on" button on the television. (I had purchased an Asurion warranty. It took over 2 weeks to get a response.)Of course Hisense was no longer responsible since the curious update occurred exactly 1 day after manuf. warranty expired. 1 year. I had hoped for an exact replacement. The television today costs almost twice as much as I paid for it. I received no replacement television. If you want a 50" television where you can view with clarity at angle less than 22° this is a good choice. I had to view the Hisense straight on because of the pixel configuration. The sound quality was sub standard in comparison to similar models. The brightness and contrast control was very good. I will only purchase televisions in future where the manufacturer will not haggle over a few hours when it comes to an update responsible for frying the unit. Am watching a Sony which is 5 years old. Better not Bitter. ... show more
