Only brand TV I buy these days

Love this 65” I purchased my first Hisense about 27 yrs ago. Was a 40in on sale for under $150. It was for kids game machine to get them off family set. Never heard of them so was an experiment. Was very impressed with the quality picture. Worked too good. Son’s dog was visiting and charged a dog on the screen and fractured it. Big strong hard headed beast. Replaced with 55” 25 yrs going strong. So, long story short I exclusively purchase Hisense since. Each one has been great and a super value and no failures. This one (65”)has continued to uphold and exceed my expectations. We stream, connect devices, use over wireless, have in a home theater etc. Several of my friends have spent thousands more on other brands that are supposed to be the best. But, all have had different issues from physical hardware breakages to display scan issues and WiFi connectivity issues. When they see mine and ask what brand and how much I paid they think I’m joking. Only brand I buy now. Even the latest CES 26 reviews rated their newest in each category among the top 3. I’d even argue some of the ratings preferences as they got down to subjective minor differences. Hisense just released a 100in. Category set. I’d love to get it but can’t justify it to my wife. 65in TVs are all great and she makes the good argument the newer models in that category will get better after a year or two. I’d recommend mounting any TV of 65in or higher. Mostly as a safety factor. Wall mounts are so inexpensive with lots of features and you won’t have to worry about little ones getting injured. This TV has an excellent picture quality — the colors are vibrant, the image is sharp, and everything looks very clear. Watching movies and videos is a real удовольствие. For its price, it’s an amazing deal. It performs much better than expected and definitely feels like a higher-end TV. Great TV. Picture quality is great.. easy to connect to WI-FI, remote is also easy to navigate. At first the TV did not seem that bright but you can easily change from Movie mode, picture mode, etc to adjust the picture to as bright or dim that you need for your surroundings. Quality on a budget

Great purchase! I bought it for gaming and the performance is great. The TV seems to adjust to the lighting in the room which is a cool feature. Black and dark images are clear while bright colors pop! Definitely worth it for the price point.

Decent HDR once I figured out the issues, but otherwise a mediocre tv.

Video was not quite what I expected. sRGB was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Out of the box settings for HDR looked horrible. It was not the full 10bit per color. It was 8 bit per color at best with lots of banding between different colors and it made some color areas oversaturated with geat loss of detail. The solution was buried quit deep in the picture menu. It was HDR Enhancement. This restored 10 bit per color for HDR. Once I enabled that & ran windows HDR Calibration & set the saturation to maximum, it looked very close to what I see on my oled monitors, which is very good. Note this is true only if you are sitting directly in front with only about 15 degrees of leeway to either side. Otherwise, the image starts wo look washed out. The remote control works well. I did not test the wifi connection as I had intended this to be connected through a computer on an HDMI connection. Hdmi 1 quit working after a driver update to my computers video card though. HDMI 2 still works though on the same exact settings. HDMI 1 refused to work no matter which port I used on the video card. Nor did it work on my computers on board CPU based video processor. It worked well initially. The menu was easy to navigate to the HDMI port selection from the home screen, which was a good thing as it does not remember the setting upon being turned off then back on ... show more
