We were looking for bikes to use when we go camping plus to use around the house. Our thought was it's way cheaper than a golf cart and you can use a bike anywhere you go where as a golf cart is not always allowed. I was looking for a bike that my wife could ride since she's 5'2". Saw this bike and after reading the reviews I thought that I would give it a try. The price was in our wheel house as first time ebike owners. The bike came well packaged and about 90% complete. Took minimal effort to put together. Watched a youtube video on how to install, but the manual was very clear. Battery was fully charged out of the box as well. Watched a video on control settings and made sure the bike was set at the optimum level. First impression and things we like: The grips on the handle bars are far better than my ebike, seat is really nice and the wife is happy with it, rear rack has a nice wood platform, pre-drilled frame for a water bottle holder, great LCD display. Our maiden trip was a 20 mile bike ride that was both flat/hilly terrain. At the end of the ride, still had 1/2 battery life and no cons with the bike. Since the battery has no memory, battery recharged in about 3.5 hours. We're very happy with this purchase and look forward to future rides. Of course there are more expensive bikes out there, but this bike is does what we need it to do at a great price. ... show more

Assembly was easy and as expected for an ebike. Everything worked great on the first ride, gears shifted good, just a small adjustment to reduce excessive chain noise. Bike is solid and easy to ride on gravel and dirt. Will take to the beach in a few months. The team at Himiway was great and quick to respond when i had a question. After MUCH research, I chose to purchase Himiway's Step-Thru Cruiser eBike via Amazon as the best, currently affordable electric bike with all-around features needed for local cummuting and recreation purposes. Purchasing through Amazon gets the purchaser backing from two companies: Himiway and Amazon Customer Service. This buys you assurance of quality care if anything should go unsatisfactory and gave me a purchasing package that I couldn't straight from Himiway. It is important to track your package. Delivery notice was after-the-fact and box beat up. I was thankful that my purchase came earlier than anticipated but ws left out in the elements that could have been disastrous if rainy. Luckily, Himiway packs the eBike well internally!!! This was my first eBike and was able to put it together through Himiway's help videos with ease, just took my time. Those that are familiar with these sorts of eBikes could most likely put it together in less than an hour. There was an advertised accessory not included and would recommend having zip ties and several washers handy for proper tighting of bolts (for my liking). The Amazon Himiway Customer Service Team is AMAZING! I had notified them about the missing accessory, and they provided me with one of my choice. Additionally they provided other choice assessories for the way that my package was handled/delivered. I've ridden my eBike for about three weeks. It is everything advertised and more!!! Bikes tires cause it to be taller and hard to stand over at 32” inseam. The step over design is too high, and because the original seat is also too far forward can not easily stand over it at a stop sign. To correct this I changed the seat and seat post both combined gave me the room to be able to straddle this wonderful e-bike. I’m 500 miles in my first 6 weeks and going strong at age 60 with arthritis . The battery life is amazing and 750 watts rear hub motor is strong. Himiway customer service is slow and ask for proof of problems with pictures and video and email go back and forth. ... show more

This is my first ebike, and after looking at several models, I chose the Himiway Cruiser Step over. It's a blast to ride! Took a bit to get the right PAS setup, but overall I'm very happy with it. I have lower back issues and being able to ride a bike again is awesome. Putting the bike together was fairly simple, completing in about 45 minutes. It took a while to get the brakes adjusted to where they don't make any noise, but still get a slight noise every now and then. The gears were easy to adjust as well. I replaced the seat with a more comfortable one and also added mirrors. Overall, I love this bike. It's powerful and gets up to speed quickly. I am disappointed that it caps out around 25 mph when most other bikes will hit 28 mph, but that's being picky. Still waiting to get the rear back that was included in the Black Friday promo sale, and the manufacturer has been in touch with me regarding the delay in shipping with the bag. This is my second himiway bike. The first one was the zebra, which I love. suggestion, i’m 5’7 and find it a little bit hard getting off the zebra I would highly recommend somebody my height getting these steps through much easier to get on and off besides that the bike is awesome. The bike is fast. The battery lasts long It is an amazing bike so I decided to get the cruiser step through for my daughter so we could ride together. This bike is also an amazing bike a bit different than the zebra is lighter and that is large but the step through makes it much easier to ride. I highly recommend the himiway bikes.
