This is a good size bench vice for the small repair projects. It is heavy duty cast steel and the main screw tolerance is fairly tight/not sloppy. The rotation feature is very handy. Worth the asking price.

    • Great solution for my needs
I have held off getting a larger vice for a while because I don’t have a workshop with a place to permanently install one. I pretty routinely find myself in situations where it would be helpful to have one though. This little vice fills a gap in my tool set. Having the ability to clamp it down to my temporary work surfaces and then remove it for storage is a really great option. This thing is solidly built too. I don’t have any concerns about it’s strength for my applications when are mainly pretty low impact. Build quality is great, fit and finish looks really good.     • Quick And Easy To Adjust
The Dual Purpose Bench Vice is well made and capable of swiveling 360 degrees. The jaws are well made with an option of rubber grips or non slip triangular pattern. The "C" clamp attachment is deep enough to accommodate almost any work bench tabletop thickness. The old school "hammered" paint finish is very durable and doesn't easily chip off. The only serious fault I have seen is the jaw opening, which is very anemic at 2 1/4" with rubber inserts and 2 1/2" without. I have seen small vises like this at Harbor Freight with a wider jaw opening. ... show more

This vice is great for my woodworking projects and overall great to have. And being portable is a plus. Heavy duty quality, should last many years. A must for DIY folks.

This is so useful. It has the ability to be permanently attached to the work bench with the bolts provided or temporarily held in place with the adjustable clamp. Being able to angle it and lock it in position is great bonus. I particularly like that it comes with rubber protectors so you can hold delicate items firmly in the jaws without damaging them. ... show more

    • HimaPro Heavy Duty Bench Vise
I've been wanting to get one of these clamps for a long time. It was easy to get attached to my work bench in the garage and does just what it says it should do. I'm going to be using it to work on rocks and I'm sure it will be good for other things as well. Would buy again.
