    • Ok. Expensive if you just need a standard multi-tool.
This tool is okay. I needed it for adjusting the depressors in refrigeration hoses to my gauges. I bought it before at like $30. It rusted on me with ugly surface corrosion but didn't damage the surface much. I took that off with a light wire wheel. I changed jobs and couldn't find it and assumed I lost it, and bought it for less than $11 this time. So of course two days after it arrived I found the first one. It has 4 nut drivers sizes instead of two like on your standard six in one multi-tool. It has two things most people won't use. If you want to pull the needle out of a needle valve it works good. It's really mean if you want to flatten someone's tires but not destroy them you can steal the needles out of the inflation valves. That'l delay your next driving excursion. ... show more

I had a Klein 10 in 1 that was horrible for holding bits so I downgraded to a Klein 5 in 1 that worked much better. I needed a schrader valve tool and saw the Hilmor 9 in 1 and decided to give it a try. So for I would put it ahead of both the Klein drivers for bit holding. I plan on using it for a little longer before I decide if the tips last longer though. The handle is kind of square rather than round and big enough to give a good grip when torquing but not bulky or uncomfortable. The bit layout is pretty intuitive and easy to get used to, and the bit selection is just what an HVAC tech needs for most jobs or even a general handyman for that matter. I use this screwdriver for probably 75% of the time I need a screwdriver, it's great to able to grab one driver and put in my pocket to handle the job. ... show more

If I was not an HVAC technician then this would not be a tool I would buy. Based on the quality, Its make to be useful as a back-up and not a primary tool. Its not magnetic in any way, the quality of the nut drivers is pretty poor and the handle has been know to shatter in the past. The bits are decent quality but could definitely use improvement. Other then that, its really handy to have if you just need to run back into a house to check something or snug up some bolts. ... show more

I found a cheaper one in my town, but I wouldnt have know it was a deal if i hadn't bought this one for a decent price, its helped me out so much, this was a quality buy a must for your bag , bonus Schrader core trightener wont come on any other 9 and 1s , great for gas and goes , tighten the cores that migh help that leak some time it is and some times it that extra stuff they like to know you do. ... show more

    • it's a fine screwdriver
This is my 2nd time buying this screwdriver. I used the first one for several years, trouble free. I lost it and needed to replace it asap. It's a fine screwdriver and has a permanent home in my tool bag. I've been running AC, Appliance, Plumbing and Electrical calls for 39 years now.

Probably the only 11-in-1 (or whatever it is) I'll ever buy. They all work great, some more than others, but what seals the deal on this one is the schrader tool. Enough dicking around your truck looking for t-stat screwdrivers or hoping you can track down a valve cap with the schrader tool end on it.
