I feel like this is an ok bed for the money, there are several manufacturers that are all about the same quality and price for this type of furniture, so I can't really recommend this one over any others. The issue: I ordered two of these loft beds and one was ok and the second had a barrel nut that wasn't threaded. Which isn't a big deal if you purchase locally as you can go right back to the store and get a replacement part assuming they have stock. After contacting the manufacture, which they are quick to reply, asked for the receipt. I personally don't like giving any extra information out to anyone, especially a manufacture out of who knows where. I simply told them the issue I had and the part I needed, with the specific specs including thread pitch. They refused to send a 10 cent part stating it could be against the policy of there sellers. Then after more emails, they stated they just want to get me the correct part and the parts are made in multiple countries and the pitch of the threads can be different. Finally, after I took a picture of the box the bed was shipped in, they sent me a whole set of nuts and bolts (waste when you only need 1 part). Took a little over a week to get and several emails. I wish they just would have shipped me the part I asked for, which included the specs such as pitch. Not to mention, their customer service reps were condescending, but I did throw it back at them, so there's that. However, Amazon customer support was top notch, they offered to take some off of the purchase price if I could get the part at the local hardware store. However, it's not a common part. Then they offered and ended up sending me a new bed so I could get the part out that I needed. Which they said they are out of stock and will take a month to get in, which isn't a big deal to me as the kids didn't really mind sharing a bed. However, the same day the replacement part from the manufacture arrived, Amazon had already shipped the bed 3 weeks earlier than what they were expecting, which makes me more impressed with Amazon, but I couldn't cancel the return. So, I'll end up sending the bad part back with that bed I guess. Also, I should note. I did have a M6 1.0 tap in my shop and I could have just threaded it myself... But the barrel nut looked like it could have been coated and I didn't want to thread a coated nut as they can rust after that, but my old eyes couldn't see for sure, so I ended up going for a replacement part instead of fixing it myself. I do know, I could have just given the Manufacture my receipt, but it had too much personal information on there that I didn't want to share. We are talking about .10 part. Which I gave them the exact specs of, including the pitch. Now Amazon had to deal with it and will have to send a bad bed back to them. And who knows what that cost will be on the manufacture. I guess I'm just a pain in the rear customer that expects to get a fully function product, especially when dropping 700 bucks on two beds. This is exactly what we wanted and for the price, we are overall very happy. It's a little wobbly when my 9 year old son gets up onto the bed but not to the point we are concerned. My biggest complaint is that we didn't get instructions! I was happy to see the manual posted on the amazon page but having the printed manual would have helped. It took about 3 hours to assemble which was mainly me (38 year old female who is pretty handy) along with help here and there from my husband and father. We did end up putting a piece on upside down that needed quite a bit of backtracking to make it right- and that I blame on having to use the manual on my phone and not zooming in enough to see I was doing it incorrectly. ... show more

    • Great Bed for a Tween - But not so sturdy

The Good - not hard to put together - does its job - looks nice - my tween is happy - the price was right The Not so Good - a few pieces were damaged - we called customer service - the advice was to order another bed, swap out products, and return - we did so and were able to put it all together (but feel weird about it) - it is not crazy sturdy. It is sturdy enough, but I don't see this lasting for my daughter's entire teen years - I could be wrong. Because the price was right, I am not freaking out about this - but her old one was WAY sturdier (because it had a bed on the bottom too). This is a resubmission. My previous review was removed because I added an external url of where I found the instructions. The frame didn't come with instructions and I didn't have the time to wait for an email response of the instructions. If you have time to wait for emailed instructions, please email the company, but if you Google them; you might find them that way also. Maybe you can email them before the frame arrives, so you won't have to worry about it when the frame arrives. Other reviews stated it didn't come with instructions, but I thought that was just for them, so I didn't think I needed to email them. I'm not sure if that's normal, but I would email them ahead of the to be safe. Overall bed is pretty sturdy and quiet. Glad I went with wood instead of metal. I bought this around black Friday for 40%, but would have bought this at the original price if I had to. Cuddling seems okay for adults, but I wouldn't try doing too much with 2 adults on this bed frame. I think weight limit is 330 including the mattress. Put together by myself with maybe 2 hrs. I suggest that you use the included tool for tight spaces/ finishing and an impact drill with correct attachment for everything else because if not; your hands will definitely hurt. Also using the drill is so much faster. I didn't have an issue with wood ripping apart, but just be careful not to overdue it with the impact drill. Leave room for adjustment by not tightening all the way and only tighten when you for sure have the pieces together correctly. The only real downside was the pieces weren't as protected as I had hoped. There was some dings as other reviews stated and my desktop corner was also damaged. Luckily it wasn't too bad. I also wish the steps were an extra 1 or 2 wider. It's not uncomfortable, but I think it would be more comfortable with wider steps.Great buy. Definitely recommend if you need a sturdy twin loft frame that isn't noisy. Also looks aesthetic and neutral. ... show more
