  • Hiland is all about customer service
Color: Black Size: Multi-spokes
I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants a great value. The bike is well made and looks nice and the price is well worth it. Unfortunately my bike had some shipping damage. The fork was bent when we took it out of the box. I contacted Hiland and they told me to get the fork replaced and they would refund the total. That is just what happened. I highly recommend the purchase of this bike and rest assured that if there is any shipping damage they will take care of you. ... show more

  • Considerations before purchase
Color: Black Size: 6-spokes
This MTB is of fair quality. It looks very snazzy and appealing (a lot of compliments). Some upgrades will be required to better the bike such as; thicker tire tubes (stock quality is poor and doesn’t hold air), seat post (doesn’t stay in place and will strip if tighten anymore), better seat cushioning, handlebar grips (poor and slippery), peddles (cheap narrow plastic), and it’s highly recommended to take to a local bike shop to have inspected once assembly is completed. The brake disks needed proper professional adjustments and the cables were said to be twisted in its housing/coverings. I ride this bike hard almost everyday in a round trip of 10 miles and it’s hanging in so far. (Image is after assembly and not with any upgrades which have already been made) ... show more

  • Lemon From Day 1
Color: 6 White Size: 6-spokes
This bike is a piece of junk. From day one, the chain constantly fell off and the disk brakes squeaked. We took it to a bike shop and were told that the disk was warped and that's why it squeaked, but because it was Covid time and there wasn't a lot available in the way of bikes, we kept it. Fast forward to today. Both brake handles have snapped off and we just got a call from the guy at the bike shop who said that, in addition to the brake handles being broken, the front brake caliper doesn't work and the bearings need to be replaced. Long story short, the bike is going to cost more to fix than it's worth. My son only rode this bike to and from school which is about 1/4 mile away from our house on a paved bike trail, so it's not like the bike was abused. Do not buy these bikes. They are garbage and a true example of "you get what you pay for." ... show more

  • Highland 26" Bicycle
Color: 3 White Size: 3-spokes
The bike is very comfortable and it rides nice, when it's not having a flat or going up or down hills. I love the three spoke tires, because they are so unique. However the back tire keeps leaking air. I purchased two of these bicycles, one for my husband and one for myself. The very first day my husband got on his, he had two blowouts. My bike tires lasted quite awhile, then I had two blowouts as well. The first time mine blew out, I was two miles from my car and had to walk back. The second blowout was just outside my door. We bought two or three replacement tubes and they had leaks in them, close to the seam, so we think it was a bad lot of replacements. Then we went to a different store and we tried a "slime" back tire and that seemed to hold for several rides. That too, leaked after time passed. We went to a bike shop and purchased tubes from them, they also leaked. I'm on my probably 8th or 9th back tire tube in less than a year. So, there is something wrong with the tire to cause so many leaks and blowouts. My gears do not shift properly, and my husband's bike has the same issue. His gears don't work either. I can use the middle 7, but the low and high gears keep shifting and skipping or the chain gets stuck. Same for my husband. Also, he had another issue with his wheel as well. I wouldn't recommend this bike to anyone. ... show more

  • This is not a bad bike
Color: 6 White Size: 6-spokes
Bought this just for a bike to cruise around the neighborhood as I don’t take my expensive one out as I use that for the mountains. Now you won’t be taking this on extreme trails as it’s not really made more that much abuse but as a light trail and roads bike it’s pretty good. It does require some tuning and I’d recommend putting grease in the headstock as I had to do that as there was minimal grease in it. Tires weren’t bad but I did replace them and added liners to them but overall I wouldn’t have a problem recommending this bike ... show more

  • Very happy
Color: 3 Black Size: 3-spokes
I purchased this bike to pick up a hobby to help me quit smoking and couldn't be happier. Arrived earlier than expected and was easy to assemble. The first weekend I rode it 3.5 miles & 8.9 miles, I figured out where to make adjustments and how / when to shift gears (it's been over 24 years since I was on a bicycle). The only downside for me was the bike seat (the seat that came with it made my but sore after about 6 miles) and was a little rough going over bumps and cracks in the road (but that was due to a higher tire pressure). After ordering a new seat (I recommend the Everlasting Comfort Ventilated Bike Seat Cushion) and trying out different tire pressures it rides very well. My second weekend of having it I rode it 3 days in a row of 20-25 miles a day and my distance was only limited because I ran out of water. My legs feel like spaghetti (but I'm good with that) and my butt feels fine and found a few more things to tweak / tighten on the bike and installed a third water bottle mounted to my handle bars. ... show more

  • is it a $300 bike? Concern on the quality
Color: 6 White Size: 6-spokes
It is a nice looking bike and my son really loves it. However, there are couple of serious quality( design) problems: a. The head tube is wiggling and you can NOT tight it up because by screwing the top will not push down the outside head tube to make it tight ( because of inside tube a little high). I have to use metal wire to make a washer then tight the top screw; it will then push down the outside head tube to make it tight. See the two pictures. Would have returned it if this issue couldn't be resolved. I did contact the seller on this but all suggestions were not useful. This seems a design problem or the head tubes ( inside and outside) are not precisely cut. b. The front and back brake discs are not flat ( or the wheel is tilted) as the brake pad always touches the disc some area when the wheel is rotating. You will have to use a tool to adjust the brake disc at different angles. BTW, you don't have much room to adjust how close between the brake pad and disc. c. Some paint already starts peel off. For $300, I wouldn't suggest to buy this bike; go with a named brand. ( we bought a Schwinn brand bike almost the same time, it is a much much better quality bike, no issue at all) ... show more
