The bike itself is nice. Well made parts. Bright color. Easy to use. But I could not leave 5 stars because I did have issues with assembly. First, the instruction book I received was a book made for multiple models of bikes. The instructions constantly had to describe the multiple components you could potentially have with your bike, based on the model you had. But it never stated clearly which components your bike would have based on the model you purchased. It would just say things like "if you have this type of brake...." I am buying a bike from Amazon, so I can guarantee I am not so much a bike expert that I know what type of brake I have. The book constantly talked about how it is crucial to make sure things are assembled correctly for your safety and the bike's integrity yet they did not take it serious enough to write a manual for each type of bike so that you could follow the directions well & make sure the bike is assembled properly. Also, the bolt for the clasp for the seat was missing. My clasp was just haphazardly thrown into the bottom of the box. I did not plan on attaching the cheap plastic fenders & thankfully the bolt in the fender kit worked for the seat clasp. Thankfully my husband is pretty handy so he was able to get the bike assembled for me despite all of these issues. I use the bike to ride on flat paved trails in the park a few times a week. So I did not need anything too extreme. But for the price I paid for this bike I would have expected better instructions & for all of the pieces to be included.

The media could not be loaded. Received the bike in a timely fashion. Put it together fairly easily only to find the seat clamp for the post was missing and the headset is loose. Emailed the manufacturer and they responded four days (not 1 per website) asking for video/photos. I also asked about the size of the seat pole as I wanted to replace the seat bc it was so narrow (almost child size). The seat is pre assembled to the pole so it’s difficult to remove. To say the least it’s been 10 days and they’ve yet to respond to my multiple follow up attempts. Happy to return. Bike seems flimsy and like it will require more modifications. Not to mention it’s missing parts.

The bike is beautiful. It came with one small scratch on the inner back wheel, that bummed me out. For $400+, I would have liked to receive a bike without scratches; however, the scratch was small in comparison to some other reviews here. The bike visually lives up to all expectations. I changed out some pieces to make it my own (and for comfort) and I am very happy with it. How Does it Ride: So, I took the bike to a shop be assembled. My first ride was a bit, eh. I really had to play with the gears in order to figure out which was best for me. There were a few times the chains popped off while riding. I slowed down and played with the gears [on both sides] to figure out the best combination. It wasn't until my 2nd ride that I found a gear that I felt comfortable with up hill, down hill, and pretty much on any terrain. It was also comfortable pulling my kids in their cart. Sometimes I get a bit afraid that the chains will pop if I jump a curb [which it shouldn't], so I take it easy for now! I'm not quite sure if this js for a long distance rider. I haven't ridden longer than 20 minutes just yet. Overall, beautiful beautiful bike. I am happy I purchased. Hit a few snags at the beginning. I am sure if I assembled it, I'd still be trying to figure things out with the gears and ensuring the brakes were tight. What Would Give this Bike 5 Stars? 1) arriving with no scratches 2) sturdier gear controls 3) less chain popping during gear changes 4) a better seat (I changed the seat out as well)

It's a good bike for the price. If you aren't super experienced with bike mechanics, I suggest having somebody who is put it together.
