Looks good and is holding solid on my pelican. Just installed it and need to take it out for a lake day, but looks just how i imagined it would. Will be great for navigation as well as streaming a fishing trip. The screws provided are pointy and sharp, so maybe some ruber caps for the screw ends would be a good thing to include in the mount hardware. i just ended up using some old plastic bolt spacers in the meantime to cover the points. And bought some rubber covers myself

This unit is very easy to adjust to the position that provides the best view. The one drawback is that when the length is extended the phone can be a bit difficult to use. As the length of the extension is increased the phone becomes less stationary and can move slightly with each key press. This is not a fault of the devise. The movement is governed by the laws of physics. Once you become accustomed to this movement, it becomes less noticeable. I recommend this item only if you are aware and comfortable with this trait. I suggest you extend the phone only as far as needed. The shorter the extension the more stabile the phone.

This phone holder is fantastic! The main thing I love is how secure it keeps my phone. We get some pretty choppy waves sometimes, and I never have to worry about it slipping or falling off, which is a huge relief. The 360-degree rotation is also great – super easy to switch between portrait and landscape, depending if I'm checking the map or just watching the scenery. It fits my 6-inch phone perfectly, and the whole thing feels really sturdy.

I capsized over a large rock in a river with good current. I was flipped out of my kayak and my boat was turned upside down. I flipped my boat over and my phone was still in place with this amazing phone holder. I lost my sunglasses, and my water bottle but I have my phone thanks to this holder! Excellent product!
