The bench is OK, but my main comment is that (as of when I bought it, May 2023) the product page says that it is wood, but that is not true. It is made of processed recycled plastic. MADE IN THE USA / GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE : Decided to get rid of crusty looking aluminum lawn furniture this year. Ordered thru Amazon because of the 0 interest for 18 months payment!! 2 Garden chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs, Side table, Backless bench and a Garden bench. The color of all the pieces is nantucket blue, the look and the feel of the pieces looks / feel real. Reached out to the other manufacturers for sample of colors, never heard back. The young lady at HARDWOODS was pleasant and helpful the both times I contacted them ( She should get a 10% commission from the sale, about $200, because of her I finally decided to go with HIGHWOOD). With the right tools (cordless drill,Hex Head Allen Wrench Drill Bit and grandkids) the builds went well and pieces fitted together well. Looking forward for years to come family and friends enjoying the cool fall and winter nights in SFLA while sitting on these comfortable /sturdy/well made pieces of furniture. Thank you HIGHWOOD!! Bought the bench in Nantucket Blue. We like the color a lot against our backyard white vinyl fence. Was easy to put together since I had my own adjustable Allen socket set. Using the supplied tool will take longer. Hardware is top quality stainless. Had to call customer service since the poly had a defect in one of the arms. Customer service was top notch and received a replacement in two days! Not the cheapest product but will buy again from this company since it is high quality, US made and customer service stands by the product. I’m sure it is easy to clean down the road with Dawn and water. This should last for many years. Also bench is much nicer than Pollywood which looks fake. The Highwood looks like wood. ... show more

Good quality bench, spent the extra money for this one because it won’t rot. It’s fairly sturdy. However, like most furniture, the quality could be better for the price.

Nice piece but after assembling the whole thing there was a significent scratch on the arm and rough edges that really should hae been better sanded. Need pillows and a cushion to add comfort.
