  • Sturdy, Efficient, and Easy to Use
Bought these to relocate a few of the trail cameras I have out on our property. These are the fourth or fifth different set of screw-in mounts that I've used and for my usage, they're one of the best. Some screw-in mounts have a screw thread that starts too thick and is very hard to start, these have a more abrupt taper and start fairly easily, and will drill themselves into the tree deep enough to provide a solid mount. Some other versions have a wingnut and washers to hold the camera, some have a threaded stud that passes through a hole in the mount, while these only have the round threaded wheel to tighten back up against the camera, but they work quite well. The distance from the mount to the tree is sufficient to screw on the camera and the locking wheel holds it firmly in place. The locking wheel stays on the mount and nothing gets lost. The ¼-20 threaded portion is long enough to get up into the camera far enough that it stays secure. These being among the least expensive ones only makes it better. ... show more

  • Great inexpensive camera mount
Simple design gets the job done. Works best if you can drill a pilot hole first, but will screw into trees without. The mount is extremely durable, and feels unlikely to bend with normal use. Only complaint is that there is no adjustment for the camera itself, so you need to be sure you have the angle right when installing. ... show more

  • Most practical for longevity
Tremendous PITA to get the right angle since it is a fixed position but… Every other type we have tried that has a nuckle/joint..never last more than a year. They either turn to rust or the joints just don’t lock down tight enough. At least with these. Once you get the position just right. You can get 3 years out of one. ... show more
