    • Bad right out of the box
I got a bad one I guess. There is lots of good reviews on this carb, so I decided to buy it. Upon receiving it, all looked great. No damage to the box or carb. I installed it and immediately noticed it was dumping tons of fuel. So much that it immediately flooded and wouldn't start. Even after I stopped cranking it and got out to check things, it was still dumping tons of fuel. I thought the float wasn't adjusted right and overfilling the bowl. I fiddled around with it and got it somewhat better, but it was still running way too rich. I couldn't adjust the idle circuits on it. Turning the idle screws did absolutely nothing. So, after 5 hours and having it on and off 4 times, I decided it was a lost cause and am returning it. ... show more

Install was easy, product worked perfect for my CJ 7. no adjustment needed. Started and ran just fine. Have been driving it for 5 days now and no problems as of yet.

Ok so upon receiving I noticed there is no rebuild kit included. Only option is return and I don’t have time! After operating 5 times, a total of 43. Miles, 4 local streets around town & 1 off road trip the carb. Stopped working. I was getting no fuel inside the carb. Fuel pump works up to the carb inlet but No fuel into the carb. I removed it from my jeep and opened it up. I’m not an intense carb builder but could tell this was put together improperly. My return window has passed. Worst $90 I’ve ever spent. I’ll be more careful picking my next carburetor! ... show more
