I was excited to get these shock covers but didn’t look closely enough at the listing photos before ordering and missed the obvious spelling error: “Specjal Edytion.” That one’s hard to ignore. That aside, the covers themselves are decent quality and do fit my 2014 Yamaha Raptor 700R Special Edition. They were a bit tricky to install at first. I found it works best to secure them with the Velcro facing you and then rotate them to hide the seams. The downside is that doing so puts the misspelled text front and center, which is unfortunate. I haven’t had a chance to ride trails with them on yet, but I do like that they fully cover the spring and secure at both the top and bottom. They should help keep dirt and dust off the shocks and springs, which can help reduce premature wear. Durability will really be determined over the next few months. I also think it’s best to only leave these on while riding and remove them afterward so they can dry out and not trap moisture that could lead to rust. ... show more

I installed these on the race car to protect a set of very expensive shocks, and the install couldn’t be easier. Wrap them around, line up the Velcro, and they’re on in seconds. That’s all it takes to keep clay and grit from building up—stuff that would otherwise cause wear and make weekly maintenance a lot more of a chore. It’s the off‑season, so I haven’t run them on track yet, but based on the material and construction, I expect zero issues washing them out between races. They feel durable enough to handle a full season of dirt and cleanup. They aren’t the cheapest accessory, but when you’re talking about shocks that cost real money, the protection is absolutely worth it. A small investment to safeguard a very big one. The material is strong, the Velcro, stitching and imprint was all done with quality in mind and I find not issues with the way they match up to the shocks. Come may find they fit a little loose, but for us, that is a plus. ... show more
