I am really impressed with the tenacity of the adhesive on this weather stripping. It is so strong that one needs to apply the stripping very carefully - especially on a wood surface - it will pull up up your wood and paint if you need to adjust the position of the product. In my application, I did have a few 'do overs' and some touch up painting to do after. Some weatherization products I have used before have a more forgiving adhesive that is still durable, so this product gets a small demerit for ease of use. Also, as advertised, the density of the foam is high meaning it will NOT compress very much. If you place this material in a space that is too narrow for the stripping, you may not be able to close your door (as an example). What is hard to guess (I just applied the stripping the previous day) is its durability. I've used some products in the past where the adhesive was amazing only to have it fail after a period of time. To be clear, this product looks amazing, but I cannot yet say anything about its durability. I do recommend this weather stripping with the caveat to be very careful about your measurements and application! Good luck.

I had a problem with patio door that was leaking cold air to the house and was making noise when closing. I bought some stuff including this thick foam. I was able to fix the door as now it can close without hitting the wall, I use with another more expensive thick foam, and this works perfectly. I like the thickness and density, and few minutes I was able to attach it to the wall.

I used this foam for a car project. It works as any foam roll does and the foam is nice an firm. The issue I had was the adhesive stuck to my car just fine but the foam would separate from the adhesive in certain areas. Not sure if I got a bad batch but look out for that.

This gives me what i am looking for in a weather seal. I have a couple sports that if wants to break the seal but all things considered, it seems to be working as well as I could have hoped. It was easy to install and the seal is very good. If occasionally pressing down the couple spots is the worst I have, it was well worth the purchase for the incredible seal if offers.
