I am a 57 yr old male, 6ft 2 210lbs. Active and own a commercial Dump trucking business, all repair and fabrication is done in house, the point is i am physicaly strong , i eat good food so when i cramp, it is Bad, it is violent and extremly painful, i know of no one who has cramps or muscle lockdown like i have. I have had to drive my fists as hard as i can punch to the backsides of my leggs (hamstring) just to get the cramp to let go. Horrible foot cramps in the arch. Hands, triceps, neck. All this cramping and im scared, if i cant get control of this i am thinking 911 call. This all came from my mom, she would take prescription quinine. Her passing in 2001 at that time i had cramping but nothing like what i am describing now, 17 years later. All the advice of doctors, friends you name it. Potassium low, dehydrated, vitamins (always have) you need this you need that, BS ! I was searching on amazon for anything cramp related and i stumbled upon this, i read the reviews and that got me excited. I made the order and i took some here and took some there and it really seemed to work, well let me tell you a truth. 2 weeks ago i was really working hard getting equipment ready, we started interstate road milling about 14 hrs a day and heading straight to the shop finishing some heavy off season maint work that i got behind on because it was so cold this winter. I got really sore and rundown after about 4 days of little sleep. On the 5th or 6th days of this i was in bed maybe 30 min and both of my leggs went to a full on cramp, both hamstrings, violently, thought i was in big trouble. I managed to get on my feet and get 2 of the magnesium pills down with a good dose of water, i sat on the edge of the bed trying to remain calm with every mind game i can think of to get this backed down, in under 5 min time the magnesium took hold and just like that, GONE. No sign, no symptoms !! The exact same thing happened again last night with the same result. This product for me is a life saver and starting today i will be experimenting taking it daily and at various times. Special thanks to other amazon reviewers and the Manufacturer of this product. I should have read up on magnesium before purchasing this product but like others I was steered to purchase by the great reviews and that was a mistake on my part. This product contains "Magnesium Hydroxide & Oxide Monohydrate" and if you do a simple google search on different types of magnesium Magnesium Oxide has a bioavailability of only 4% and it's the same source of mag used in milk of magnesia. It had exactly the effect of a laxative product for me as well and that's what caused me to research magnesium after purchasing/trying. I have EDS and dystonic muscles so not a simple case to treat but it did nothing for my spasms and in addition to the laxative effect I also experienced ramped up energy which may have been the added other vitamins I'm not sure. Since it's suggested you take at night it was absolutely a bust for me. I'm now better informed because of the effects of this product so all was not lost and am trying out other forms of mag such as glycinate and orotate. Oxide and Citrate I now know are the two most widely available/marketed magnesium and the two forms most likely to cause upset stomach.

This is a great product with highly bioavailable forms of magnesium. I researched it before my purchase, and have had good results since my first problematic experience. I took 2 capsules the first time I tried it, and it did upset my stomach. This doesn’t contain large quantities of magnesium, I believe it’s 100 mg for 1 capsule. I just seem to have developed a very delicate magnesium sensitivity. If you have no magnesium issues, I highly recommend this product. I’ve taken one capsule a few times since this first experience with good results and no stomach issues. Update: This seller read my review and sent me a different product to try in place of, or with this magnesium. I haven’t tried it yet, but wanted to immediately update bc I’ve never had such amazing customer service before (I had given the magnesium 4 stars already and wasn’t remotely thinking of returning product.) This impressed me very much and I will def buy from this company for again for other purchases.

My wife had nightly cramps so bad that she sometimes cried out loud. Doctor didn't really have good advice on this. They don't know it all of course. I had to do my own research and zeroed in on Magnesium supplements. I tried a total of three but this one was the most effective and with less side effects for her. Almost magical. No more cramps. I also want to thank Dr. Google for having more knowledge than all the MDs I consulted.

I have diabetes and cramp a lot all the time mostly at night. They would hurt so bad and actually pull my muscles sometimes very painful. I tried these pills and to my surprise they work, my cramps are not gone but are manageable and don’t hurt as much. I can go a few weeks at a time before I will cramp up, before these pills it was every night and prayed it would only be one cramp in my leg and not multiple cramps in my leg. To me these are a miracle pill and I will not stop taking them. I take two a day when I get up I take one and before I go to bed I take one. Thanks so much.
