Only had the amp a month pushing on audio pipe 15 and going in protective mode fuses look fine not the best amp 👎🏿

Recieved this about 2 days ago Had installed today and ran it about 10 minutes, no i didnt have it blaring, had the amp tuned and wired in at a trusted local sound shop that does all of my adjustments and installs, and didnt even have the bass knob turned up even 1 notch. This thing started heating up instantly and started to smoke and flicker between protect and power. Entire car smells of burnt wire and so does the amp. My sound installer told me i was sent a faulty amp, hes seen these push alot more than i am. And after thorough inspection of the wiring setup and speaker impedance, tada the amp was bad before i even installed it. Very no no no EXTREMELY disappointed especially for the price paid and week i waited for it to get here. Returning this currently used to trust HiFo years ago but not really sure these days after this crap. Definitely rattled the car when it did run but not for long. Hifonics please address this in these models, i read a review where im not the only one about an hour ago. Thanks! And goodluck ... show more

2007 Chevy Silverado Classic Crew Cab audio update. I started out with an Alpine ILX-207 head unit because of the media features that I can expand on. In the first picture chose of amps after reading reviews and looking of specs of multiple manufactures. These are the best I believe for the money and wattage output. I then turned to subwoofers and an enclosure that would fit under the back sits. I tried to fit the 10",1600 watt SKAR into the box with a 3/4" spacer. After thinking for awhile went back to 10", 1000 Watt Fosgates for the job. In the doors are all new speakers with 6.5" MB Quarts up front and 5.25" Cerwin Vegas in the back. One four channel 2000 watt amp for all the doors and another 2 channel 3200 watt amp for just the subwoofers. ... show more

Had this for two 2 ohm DVC Power Acoustic MOFOS!!! Wired at 2 ohms and they beat like mad. Fried 1 sub and ordered 2 Power Acoustic BAMF's. I didn't break them in and the amp locked up the voice coils on both sub's at 1 ohm. Had my truck rear panel with waves in the panel. Now I'm breaking in a pair of MOFOs at 4 ohms and it still slaps. I lost the bass knob in my old truck and have my head unit bass setting below halfway. ... show more

I have 2 800w's @ 2ohm and they bang, but I can tell you right now - I wouldn't even try 1ohm. It's obvious by the amp's quality that you are probably not going to get it to 1ohm if your pushing the 3000w mark. I'd say maybe you can get 2000w @1 but @2 it's definitely making the 2 800w's hit their full potential. I had bought a Sundown (amazing brand, very high end) and it made them work just as well, but was twice the price. But then again @1ohm it'd be super stable too. ... show more
