I bought this to replace a box spring setup. I have reached the conclusion that I prefer platform beds and hate box springs. But I didn't want to spend much to fix that preference issue, so this was a great buy budget-wise. It comes in a heavy (very heavy) cardboard box, well packed with plastic and styrofoam. No damage from shipping. The only defect I saw in the gold, slightly shimmery finish was a small chip on a leg that goes under the bed. So no visible issues with finish. It's about in the middle in terms of assembly difficulty. Not super easy but no issues like misaligned holes or anything. The best assembly I've seen came with an allen wrench ratchet, which was amazing. This one did not sadly, but everything fit together just like it should. This could benefit from a two-person assembly to get the head and foot board part together, but it's not strictly necessary. There's two allen wrenches and a bunch of bolts and washers. No nuts to contend with. Four underbed support legs, a few metal cross pieces, the wooden slats, and the head and footboard. I hate footboards so this one's perfect because it can hold the mattress in place but does not come above my mattress (which is admittedly a tall one). The slats are all screwed in, not loose. They were all very uniform--no warping or knots. Aesthetically, I'm very happy with it. The upholstery is as pictured. Beige with the tiniest hint toward the pink end (at least to my eye). The backs of the head and footboards are not upholstered, just finished with a black interface type fabric, so if you don't plan to have the headboard up against a wall be aware of that. The long side pieces are shipped in two parts, but I cannot really see the join now that it's together. The scale makes me happy (not hulking but a "real" bed). I like that I can see under the bed (two of the support legs are more or less visible at the middle sides but that doesn't bother me). I'm impressed with the sturdiness. No creaking, swaying, etc. Very solid. I'm sure over time the bolts might need tightening up, but I've never had something assembled with an allen wrench that doesn't eventually need that. Very happy with this purchase and impressed at the value for price.

its a really good bed and sturdy it was super easy to put together took about an hour to put everything together by myself it was fun but needed help carrying the box up to my apartment lol but overall I love it it could be more of a gold color but I love it I say buy it for the price and It took about 3 days for the product to get here.

Overall it is a nice and sturdy bed frame. My only complaints are that the gold isn’t a shiny gold it’s more of a matte gold and the screw holes in wood slats do not line up with the frame’s holes. Assembly was pretty easy and directions were clear. I put it together by myself in roughly 30 minutes. I have a 12in queen and I do not have a gap by the headboard.

The picture shows a brighter shiny gold. The actual frame is a tiny bit darker but still gold. Nice elegant frame. Easy to assemble

Very beautiful and surprisingly sturdy for the price! Very well made. By myself it took me an hour or so to put together but the instructions were very clear and easy to read. Very comfortable on my head when sitting in bed and overall definitely worth it! I worried about the gold color being a "mustard" shade from reading some other reviews but mine is definitely gold and accents perfectly. Oh and it fits absolutely perfectly for deep pocketed 14in beds! I was a little worried because my mattress is a bit thicker than allowed for most bed frames I've seen on Amazon, but this one approved the 14in thick eurotop beast of a mattress I own. When it was finally together and I put the mattress on it, it is an absolute perfect fit!

I originally loved this bed frame but not long after assembling it, it started to squeak SO much! We’ve added extra washers and foam padding to the screws to try to minimize the metal squeaking because it‘a bad enough to wake us up at night, but that only provided a temporary fix. The metal of on of the feet of the bed has bent pretty badly and causes a lot of the squeaking. I really loved this bed frame but wouldn’t recommend it anymore after months of sleeping in it. Original review: The instructions were very clear and all the parts were individually labeled, so it made it pretty easy to assemble. It was a bit time-consuming, but nothing bad at all. Overall, it looks classy and sleek.
