first, I would just like to say that this case is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a case that completely covered the kickstand on the back of my OLED. I literally wanted no access to it because I would like my SD card to be protected and I don't plan on using it for tabletop use at all. It's either handheld or on the TV for me. So this case was perfect for that. also it's very aesthetically pleasing and showcases the colors of your switch perfectly. In my case, my switch is white but I wanted to display that because it's part of my aesthetic. This case is also dockable with no issues, I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on that and maybe for me it was only different because when my switch had no case on it, it was fairly wobbly in the dock, so now that I have a case on it, it fits snug. the joy con cases are also ergonomic which I really enjoy because it is more comfortable than just the flat backs when you are playing handheld. you will have to remove the joycon cases if you would like to play on the controller with the TV but that's not an issue for me because I had to do the same thing with my other switch and it's really not that big of a hassle for me, but everybody has a different opinion. The design on the back of the case doesn't bother me either, I actually kind of like that there's something going on with the back of my switch. I used to have the animal crossing switch so I was used to having a design on it, so, with this case, the checker print is pretty cool in my opinion and simple. The price of this case was also pretty fair for what you get, the piece that snaps onto the initial switch is hard plastic and the joycon cases are a soft material but that doesn't really bother me either, because in my opinion, the texture kind of feels the same because the hard plastic has a soft feel to it. I really think that this was well worth my money and I won't have to worry about getting another case anytime soon considering that I baby my electronics, so I shouldn't have to worry about this case breaking on me anytime soon. I can see the joycon cases yellowing overtime, but if that becomes an issue for me, I can always just order another one. I do play handheld a lot, so it's bound to happen. if you're thinking about buying this case, just go ahead and do it! it's worth it in my opinion!

Most protective cases are such a hassle to install that you end up damaging the product you’re trying to protect. But not this one! This was so easy to install! It took me seconds. Each button and port is left open so you can easily push buttons and plug cords in/out. The cover is just enough height to not mess with button clicking but enough to protect from damage. It stays in place so there’s no sliding around. The back even has a cute little square/plaid design. I didn’t put on the rubber joystick covers because they seemed to be a tight fit, which is great. I just didn’t want to break my joystick trying to force it on. Or maybe it’s because I’ve never installed grippers on joysticks before. Overall, I recommend this product. Easy to install, hassle free, and fits perfect!

I’ve bought like 2 other clear cases that say they are dockable but they simply aren’t. I had very specific requirements. 1. A case that is for the tablet only. Just keep the tablet and joycons separated. 2. MUST BE DOCKABLE AND CLEAR. This case checked both those boxes, you wouldn’t believe how hard it is to find something like this though. I wanted a clear case so that it can show off my pokémon edition switch still but also protect it from scratches. And I only wanted it to cover tablet for when I mount it on my tablet stand so I can play in bed. I don’t have a TV and don’t want to go though having to install one at the place I rent for school so this is the perfect set up. I have rubber covers to protect the joycon railing when the clamps grip the switch and I play on my controller while the whole switch is protected. I can also plug in my switch into the dock when I want to play on my computer monitor. Finally!!! It took so long to find this. All the other cases that say they are dockable are lying. They DONT DOCK. Granted this case DOES NOT HAVE A FLAP TO OPEN THE KICKSTAND. For me though, this was not an issue. I want to preserve the hardware of my switch and the kickstand was a bit flimsy anyways. This set up is much better for me as my stand is a lot more posable and I have no need to play with the kickstand anymore. Highly recommend this case if you had needs like mine!
