I purchased the Wendy Grey at Famous Footwear and loved them so much I came to Amazon to order them in black as well. I wear a 7.5 but in shoes like Sanuk and Allbirds which don’t come in half sizes, I wear an 8. I went with an 8 for these as well. I tried a seven in the store and could tell that they would end up hurting my big toe, especially when my feet swell after being in them for hours. The 8 in this style/material fits me. It’s a looser fit but not in an oversized way. It does not slip off my heel and there is only about a centimeter of room in front of my big toe so an 8 was the right choice. That said, the material in these two colors is the thinner, more pliable cotton. I tried on other Wendy colors that were the thicker, stiffer canvas and my heel slid out of an 8. I will probably not buy any other material unless they start making half sizes. I also bought the Hey Dude Eloise Bootie (stiff material) from Journeys and had the same issue where the 8 felt better on the front half of my foot but my heel lifted up when I walked, and the 7 fit the back part of my foot but felt more narrow and snug on the front half which may be ok if you have narrow feet but I have an average foot leaning very slightly wide. I did end up keeping the 7 in the bootie to see how much they stretch, but all this is to say, if you are a half size, just know that the thinner cotton material will fit you differently than any of the other fabrics. In addition to the frustration of no half sizes, the company doesn’t make it clear which colors are the thinner cotton fabric. They list them all under the same Wendy style so you have to look closely at the pictures to see which ones have wrinkling, especially around the tongue to know which is the thinner material. They will also not have a printed lining so that’s another clue. Yes, I recommend. I wore them for three days in a row to walk around on vacation and never had any pain. Good support, well cushioned for shock absorption, lightweight and breathable, plus super cute for a casual look. They just need to make half sizes and separate by material type.

My mom needed a new pair of comfortable shoes, and these delivered. They are light in weight, and really easy to slip on. She wears them all the time. Once the size was there, these made a great fit. For a simple cozy solution for your feet, these from Hey Dude are worth the money.

This shoe came with wild reviews from everyone at work. So I had to try a pair. It's hard to find a shoe that fits well as I have a wide width foot. I usually wear an 11 wide and ordered an 11. Width is not a problem. The shoe fits better than expected for my feet. They are pretty comfortable shoes. Since they're so low cut, there's little support in the ankle area. Probably wouldn't work well for someone needing a lot of arch support. The shoe is super flexible in the sole and flexes with the foot well. I've had to run out of the house quickly a few times and didn't have any socks quickly available. I was expecting stinky/sweaty shoes and feet, but definitely not. I've washed these once with zero problems. Popped in the washer and left to air dry. They only issue I have is the fact that the insoles are already wearing at the balls of my feet. I bought these in March. I wouldn't expect them to be showing wear there already. I am a nurse and I do wear these to work in. They have already had a LOT of miles put on them. I would suggest these shoes to anyone that's going to use them for everyday casual wear. However, these are NOT made to handle nursing and extensive wear. Not unless you want to replace them every few months. I'll be likely keeping these for wearing outside of work and go back to my other usual brand for work wear. As far as a nursing shoe goes, these are too thin in the insoles. My actual heels will hurt after a 12 hours shift. The insoles already shows signs of wear. I've also noticed they will absorb any liquid dropped on them. Not good for a nurse. They are washable. They are also super lightweight and they flex well. They were close, but just no cookie.

These Wendy Prints from Hey Dude are a fantastic find! They're incredibly comfortable right out of the box, thanks to the signature Hey Dude memory foam insole. I love the stylish print – it adds a fun touch without being too over-the-top. They're perfect for casual wear and surprisingly versatile. I've even worn them to work with jeans and a nice top.
