This is a great Ebike and I’ve had great customer service. I contacted the seller with questions about my order and they were quick to respond and were very helpful. Back to the bike though, it’s my first Ebike so I don’t have anything to compare it to but this bike has a lot of power! The pedal assist makes it so easy to ride and a lot of fun. The real fun is using the throttle! I’ve got it up to 28mph!! What a rush! It’s also pretty easy to put together it didn’t take my partner & I long at all. The seat is actually comfortable and I love that it has shock absorbers built into it. My one complaint is I find it hard to fold the frame part. I ended up kicking the frame really hard to get it to release. This could be just me needing to learn the proper technique. Suggestions welcomed. 🙂 Also there are a lot of videos online on how to put it together, how to use the bike and how to fold it. They make it look so easy. 😆 Overall I’m happy with my purchase and I would recommend this bike to anyone. Update to add that my rear basket was shipped separately days later which is why it’s not in these photos.

This bike has been great for us. The shipping was super fast (was supposed to be a Father's Day gift.) The second bike showed up a few days later. We've used these bikes on a daily since getting them. It's been so much fun. The battery life has been phenomenal. My husband is a more adventurous rider so the durability of the bike has been great. I bought this bike for my wife. The heybike ranger 2.0. I ride it more than her. I’m 6’5” and 224lbs. I’ve taken the bike in the woods a few times and it did great on some pretty rocky trails. I also rode for hours, up many hills and still came home with 40% battery. The bike is very well balanced which makes riding slow through technical terrain very easy. Folding it up to put in the back of our little suv is easy but it is a little heavy. All in all I am shocked by the build quality and versatility of the bike. I never would’ve thought it would do so good in the woods. And city exploring is so comfortable. I can strongly recommend this bike for a fun day of riding without battery stress.

The bike is pretty good and enjoyable to ride. When I first got it, I wasn’t completely satisfied because the tires were much fatter than I expected, and I had never ridden a fat-tire bike before. One downside of the fat tires is that the seat height becomes a bit higher, which makes it slightly harder for my wife to ride comfortably. Luckily, I’m the main person using the bike for daily commuting and dropping off/picking up the kids from school. After riding it for a few days, though, I started to appreciate one big advantage of the fat tires: I can easily ride on grass. That has actually been very convenient during school pickup and drop-off, since I don’t always need to stay on the walkway. Riding across the grass makes things much easier and more flexible. Overall, I’m happy with the bike and like it a lot. One improvement I’d love to see is better built-in security features. For example, a rear wheel lock that can be locked with a key, and an alarm system that sounds if someone touches or moves the bike after it’s locked. I think these features would not be difficult to implement, but would make the bike much more appealing.

My wife and I bought two Heybike Ranger ebikes from amazon and both are broken out of the box. One bike will not turn on...with a fully charged battery and the other has a battery that will not charge at all. I have been trying to get help, but get tangled up in all of the "customer service" roadblocks. I did as much troubleshooting as I dare, including checking wire connections battery pins, resetting the battery many times. I believe the problem is in the electronic controller or somewhere in the wire loom. I thought I would try taking the battery out of the other bike to insert in bike #1, only to find that battery will not charge at all (after 24 hrs of charging). I am so frustrated with the lack of quality control. I am also disappointed with the difficulty in getting help to solve the problem. Amazon needs to stand behind their customers and enforce quality control and customer service solutions.

Bought this as my first ever e-bike and while there’s plenty of pros there’s many cons. Cons: The kickstand doesn’t come attached to the bike frame nor is it a step in the instruction videos (the ranger 2 doesn’t have its own video so this is based on the ranger 1) so the process of building the bike wasn’t as quick and easy as the instructions made it out to be because I had to balance it solo. Ironically one of the biggest cons is how the bike folds, when it’s folded and being stored if the wheels touch the ground at all it’ll rotate the pedals to be in front of the arc of bike frame so it can be hard to unfold. While this bike boasts portability and convenience it’s hard from it, when fully folded it’s hard to get through a standard home door so unless you plan on storing it in a shed (then what’s the point of a folding bike) the sheer size could be a problem. My next biggest problem was the back wheel fender didn’t come secured in place to the frame (it was missing its bolt) so it would grind against the tire if there was ever any big bumps. I’m not the handiest man so I wasn’t gonna take apart the back wheel which has the chain, brake and wires pre attached. I didn’t get as many miles out of the battery per charge as I expected, I think I could get 8-10 miles while pedaling in gear 5. One day I left my house with 90% and when I got to work I was at 72% and somehow it died on the way back home (1.5 miles) which didn’t make any sense. For some reason pedaling home was incredibly difficult, if I used a low gear I wouldn’t get anywhere and if I did a high gear it was too heavy to actually go fast which is odd because my current e-bike (retrovolt pro) is 30 pounds heavier with the same gears and it goes much further per rotation. The bike seat isn’t comfortable for more than 10 minutes when driving fast. The light isn’t very useful other than showing people that you’re on the road but it won’t help you see the road at all. Pros: The brakes work very well but beware they screech The fat tires and suspension work well on roads with potholes or ugly cracked / uneven side walks. I didn’t know this till I put the bike away but you can undo the factory limit on mph but before the limit I was able to get to 32.3 mph which was great. It did pretty well going up a steep hill near my house, it did a steady 18 mph and would get up to 24 with some pedaling. Long story short: it’s okay for a commuter bike if you’re looking to stay below 20 mph and ride the sidewalk on eco mode. If you’re looking at this bike for a convenience factor I say forget the folding aspect and upgrade to the retrovolt pro ($100 more with 10 more mph and a bigger mile range) or the other 2000w Jasion e-bike that’s offered (for the same price).

Assembling the bike from the box is not a rapid process because the photos and instructions are not completely explanatory. I still am unable to remove the battery per instructions. All of the parts and materials seem to be solid and well made and fit well.

I revise my review because the second bike shoved the next day because if you purchase a combo, it will come into separate packages altogether we put the bikes together. They work just fine if you do not see a manual how to put it together go to the listing that you bought it from and there will be a video Should be the third video. It’s very simple and easy to watch to put together bikes look great there was a minor dent in the fenders and some scratching on the paint but shipping is shipping altogether. They look great they function great I’m happy with my decision.
