This is a great bike. It is easy to put together and nice to ride. It’s easy to fold and store. I’ve had folding bikes before that weren’t totally solid when latched but this thing is solid. I liked it so well I bought a 2nd one for my wife. The only complaint that I do have is that the battery only lasts 15-20 miles depending on the terrain. It’s not a deal breaker for me but it’s not as great as advertised. Still a great bike so far ... show more

Great e-bike! We purchased 2 Heybike Rangers- one for myself and one for my husband. He is 6'2" while I am 5'3" and they work well for each of us. We like the fact that they are foldable which makes it easy to transport. We can fit them both in the back seat of my husband's F250, when we pull our camper. We bought a velcro strap to hold the bike together when folded. The front suspension works great as it makes for a smoother ride. We drove down Highway 30A in Florida's panhandle and it was awesome. We rode for about 18 miles and still had 2 bars on the battery when we got back. I used the throttle most of the time and my husband used the pedal assist more. (He weighs 70 pounds more than me).The bikes can go quite fast and we only use #1 or #2 speed, depending on how many people are on the road at the time. The bikes are a little heavier than we'd like but I guess that's the way it goes for an e-bike. They are solid for sure and should hold up for a long time. They're fun and easy to ride. I have road 1000 miles and love this bike. Bike: it's heavy but built like a tank. I've dropped it,crashed it and I have had no issues. Customer Service: i had two minor issues and Customer Service was fast and solved my problems. Battery: I'm 6'3 and weigh 240lbs. On setting two I got 48 miles with pedal assistant and 27 miles trotted only. Maintenance: I have had to adjust the derailer and fix a flat on the rear wheel and both were simple. Thank you YouTube. Price: $800 shipped. WOW! Conclusion: it's only been 1000 miles, and they say you get what you pay for. Maybe the motor sucks or the battery won't lasts. But at 1000 miles I'm very happy with Heybike and my bike in particular. ... show more

Okay everything isn't always perfect, as in the directions for assembly were a little unclear and could have used a few better pictures, but I was able to get it assembled properly using common sense. Once assembled, battery charged, this bike delivers as promised. I've nicknamed it "zippy" because guess what, it's zippy! Caveat, this is my first and only ebike, so I really have nothing to compare, however, a few friends have been on it and all agree with me. I also bought a golf bag bracket from a company call Divnick Golf. This bike allows me to zip around the golf course faster than with a golf cart. This bike folds and I can store it in the back of my mid-sized SUV. This bike is extremely sturdy and somewhat heavy. Overall it is very easy to use. Very happy with my HeyBike Ranger! ... show more

    • Love it so much, we had to buy another one right away!
We absolutely love our new Heybike Rangers...We bought one to try it out first. It arrived on time and was packaged VERY well. I was thankful it came almost fully assembled so putting the last few pieces on were pretty easy. My husband and I each took it for a spin and we loved it so much we decided to buy another one right away! (We actually put the order in the same day our first one arrived!!) We were surprised that the bikes would work so well for both of us. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'3" - We thought we'd have to buy him a bigger bike but these bikes fit us both perfectly. The seats can be easily adjusted. We bought the bikes to ride around home and to bring with us on all our camping trips to the State and National Parks w biking trails. We love that they fold up so easily. They both fit in our RV garage for transport (one on each side). We just love that we can bring them along and can hit the trails wherever we go! We really like the 4" wheels. They really make a difference when you transition from highway to gravel or to the beach... you never miss a beat! We haven't need to call customer service for anything - everything came in perfect condition and works like a charm. We highly recommend these bikes... they are so well made and so much fun! ... show more

    • Very sturdy and comfortable.
I am impressed at how well built (almost overbuilt like products used to be when they lasted forever) this bike is. Assembly was rather easy as most of the bike came already assembled. Only one ride of 2 miles so far to test the bike and controls, but seems like I will have many many miles of fun this summer. Good job Heybkie! ... show more
