I saved a long time to buy e-bikes so I really did my research and finally chose Heybike and ordered two Cityruns. I love that they had orange which is my favorite color so I got that one for me, and a green one for my son. I'm so happy that I went with Heybike. We love our bikes! They look great, handle great, and they are perfect for getting this out-of-shape fifty-something woman up our area's steep hills with the pedal assist, yet still affords me my exercise which is what I really need. Before getting this bike I hadn't been on a bike in literal decades and I am really enjoying riding it. My doctor will be so pleased that I am exercising when I see him later this month! I also love that it is a step through so I can get of and on it easy. And once we figured out that I wasn't getting their emails, and the problem solved, customer service is really top notch which is so refreshing this day and age! Kudos and a big thank you to Heybike!! I would not hesitate to recommend this bike!

Very nice bike for the money. Gets lots of compliments. Could use a better seat with springs or a shock absorbing seat post, but otherwise very comfortable ride. Could also be improved with the torque sensor pedal assist.

My wife and I each purchased a HeyBike CityRun electric bicycle. The entire experience with HeyBike has been wonderful. The bikes arrived earlier than originally indicated. They were very easy to assemble. It only took me 30 minutes per bike and the assembly instructions were very clear. Since the batteries were already charged, we went riding an hour after we received them! I contacted HeyBike customer service for a couple of minor items. The customer service representative was courteous, responsive and efficient. I already have, and will continue to highly recommend HeyBike to anyone interested in electric bicycles. I can see why Consumer Reports rated the HeyBike CityRun as their highest selection!

I was excited to be able to have a bike I could use to gradually get in shape and ride to work. After two rides I’ve had nothing but problems. I can’t go more than a few miles before error code 30 shuts everything down. I didn’t want a 70 lb your bike I would’ve bought a manual bike. I’m not even sure if I want to pick this bike. I’m thinking I’ll just send it back to the manufacturer. Huge disappointment.

I just received my bike and put it together. It was very easy to assemble. While assembling it together I was taking a very close look on how it was. And is made very well and a lot of nice features. Although it's winter where I live so I couldn't take it for a long ride l did take it for a short one and found the bike to be very comfortable. In comparison with my other ebike I like the heybike better. It has more and better features.

Before you press the Order button: 1. If you MIGHT be returning this bike for any reason, realize ahead of time that YOU have to pay for the return shipping ... AND the bike weighs 80 pounds and its box is large. So, via Fedex (for example), you are looking at around $400 from the middle of the USA to the warehouse in California. (UPS might be a little cheaper). 2. The battery-equipped bike weighs 80 pounds, so you better figure out how you are going to transport it around. Even if you already have a bike rack, the rack must be rated for that, and you'll have to be able to somehow lift it and safely mount it on the rack. It is true that racks with "ramps" are available, but they are generally much more expensive than the ones without ramps. 3. The assembly instructions are awful - and wrong. Besides being way too brief, there are parts shown in the manual that are not accurate (because they've reconfigured the bike, but haven't yet got around to reflecting those changes in the manual). You only get to find this out after you've diligently searched for the parts and finally have given up and sent an email to "support". Days later (in my case), you'll get your answer. 4. And lastly, support is entirely inadequate. Days went by without an answer. When one finally came, an excuse about "sickness" was supposed to make me feel better. Hey, HEYBIKE, how about actually just having the right staffing support needed? 5. In summary: this is a complicated and expensive machine, that has many issues. Before purchasing, I recommend you carefully consider my experience before purchase. I returned mine.
