This is my second Hey-Brother cat tree. This was to replace the old, and well loved tree. A car tree is a necessity, and can be a big purchase. Hey-Brother is a good quality for the price, easy to assemble, clear instructions. This is slightly taller that the older tree, providing more platforms and two baskets, which the cats really love. The older tree only had one basket, and was connected to one post. This one provides a sturdier basket which is held by two posts. It will need to be anchored if you have larger/heavier cats. Mine is in the front, in a corner, with a bench and table on either side. I opted, rather than trying to anchor to the wall, I used a post from the old tree to stabilize under the bottom platform. I did not put the cover on the middle platform as it would require taking the top apart to remove and wash. This is fine, they use it as a cat bed. Overall this is a fine upgrade from the old tree, reasonably priced. I have other trees that are better quality but were also double the price. ... show more

This is a nice cat tower. The baskets are larger to fit large cats. It’s more sturdy than some. The base with the house at the bottom and both baskets on the side with the two towers above placed toward the center provided stability. Very pleased for the price. The color -dark gray is nice.

If you’re looking for a tower for LARGE cats, this is the one!!! I’ve bought 3 cat towers in five months because my kittens were growing- as they do. I didn’t really think about how eventually they would get very big and I didn’t like seeing them having to curl in tight balls every time they wanted to relax on their other towers. Yes, cats do like to curl up but sometimes they also want to spread out as they lounge. Why not give them options? After searching on Amazon for a moth I knew. I had to get something that wasn’t necessarily taller, just wider where they lay. This is the one! I’m so happy I got it! It’s definitely enough room for two large cats on each perch. Maine Coone? Maybe. I’ve never owned one but I would say maybe. Large domestic shorthair/longhair etc for sure. It’s easy to put together and much easier than all the other towers I’ve ordered off here.
