I rarely leave negative reviews, but after receiving a stale batch of popcorn, Amazon refunded the order. I decided to give the popcorn company another chance as I’ve ordered it years ago, the quality and taste were much better. Unfortunately, the second batch was also stale. I even contacted the company after the first order and was disappointed that they suggested the problem was how I popped it rather than acknowledging a possible quality issue. I followed the popping instructions exactly as directed, so preparation was not the issue. The popcorn had the same stale taste and lacked the fresh flavor I expected. Based on two separate purchases with the same result, I can only review the product as I experienced it. I won't be purchasing it again.

This product is decent, though it had a bit of a chewy texture and felt slightly stale—like it was auditioning for a role in a bad snack movie! I’ve been experimenting with various items, so my opinion is a bit of a mixed bag. However, I must say, I appreciated the neat separation of each item in their packages; it made tossing them into the popper as easy as a comedian delivering a punchline!

I like this theater style popcorn. The ability to control the salt is a plus. I use only half of the salt per serving or less. The kernels pop up very big and makes standing over the stove for 5 minutes worth the wait. I use a Whirly Pop on a gas stove at medium high temperature. Heads up: If you allow the popcorn to breathe by opening the lid half way through the popping, it releases some (minor) steam moisture. This results in a fluffier lighter result. ALL but a few of the kernels pop and this is so much better than microwave popcorn. Highly recommended!!! Pros: great taste, salt control Cons: takes 5 minutes to cook on stove (a fair trade off for a great result IMO)
