Where do I begin. First, this is an updated version of the model of the same name "hexgaming PS4 new edge". Except this is the updated version with USBC port instead of the old micro USB that PS4 uses. The grip is also better, more rubbery than the older version. And you can also have 6 profiles of button mappings as compared to the old version. There's 2 versions of this on Amazon , both with the same name so I suggest you guys pay attention and get the one that I'm reviewing on. Trust me I've had both and I didn't know there was a difference. Now, on to the important part which is the controller itself. THIS CONTROLLER IS SUCH A STEAL FOR THE PRICE!! It's so good and I feel like it's underrated. Compared to a scuff, AIM, or any other pro controller, this one is priced at only $130 bucks for a pro controller that has everything the competition does. The bumpers and triggers are basically mouse click, and I think the back buttons are PERFECT and ergonomically placed that your hands and fingers naturally wrap and cover all 4 buttons. (By the way, the 4 back paddles are designed to be used with 2 fingers, not 4. You use your middle finger to press both buttons on each side. This applies to all hex gaming controllers, they are all made for a 2 finger placement on the back, not 4. This is commonly misunderstood among hex controllers and people think the back buttons are not ergonomic, when it isn't the case. It's very ergonomic. When I hold my controller, my middle finger perfectly wraps around both buttons. I love that I can have a pro controller for $130 instead of spending $200 to $300 on scuffs or battle beaver PS4. Add that with Amazons 2 or 3 year warranty plan with Asurion for about $17 bucks and your good to go and covered- if you got stick drift, any of the buttons fail, whathaveyou, just exercise the Asurion warranty plan and you get a new controller within a week. Amazons Asurion warranty rivals that of Best buy. They accept any damage almost no questions asked. Not only that, the warranty prices are 1/3 cheaper than best buy warranty. Only $17 for a 2 year warranty!!!! This is literally my secret little controller gear hack. Came in amazing conditions. So far the controller is working fine. All the buttons work no problem whatsoever. I was suspicious about it at first due to not so many good reviews but I can confirm this product is legit. I’ll update in the next couple of days to do check ins about its condition. 5/30/26 Update: can say that I had to replace the controller with another one. It worked flawlessly, with 0 stick drift, and clicky buttons on triggers. The only bad thing for me was that the controller buttons were not that smooth. Had problems pressing square and circle sometimes. New controller arrives today. I think with custom controllers is a hit or miss but I can say that these ones are very good indeed. I was about to drop $500 on a Battle Beaver DS4 controller, then found this. Decided I would drop $130 and see how I liked it, worse can I could return and go with BB. I am so glad I did, this controller is amazing. I have a Dual Sense Edge I was using before this, and that was just too bulky and I couldn't get the proper leverage on the sticks to really go crazy. But the DS4 is perfect itself, then you add in the flawless 4 back buttons that have a very tactile click when pushed, and also super responsive. The included sticks range from short concave to tall domed. I found my perfect mix and have been FRYING the opps ever since. I'm sure a Battle Beaver is amazing, but I just can't justify the price with how good this $130 controller is. If you are on the fence like I was, try this out, you won't regret it. ... show more

The controller works fine, but it just didn’t feel comfortable to use. It’s smaller than I expected, and the button placement didn’t work well for my bigger hands. I returned after a few days of testing and went back to my old controller. Might be great for others, but not the best fit for me.

no me gustó los botones que traen en ka parte de arriba, sobre todo los de la parte derecha, no se siente ni de membrana ni mecánicos, parecen que se quedarán pegados siendo esto un tremendo problema para juegos competitivos, la verdad no me gustó nada.
