Instructions state to test everything before installing. In doing so I found there are the right amount of fitting to do a triple inline hex. This works even better for my space. I can't rate CRI, but it looks pretty good. Colors look like colors better than other lights around. There are 3 dimmer settings. To be honest, I hate this. By cycling the light switch you can dim the lights. There is a special instruction of some of the bars get out of sync, cycle the switch a couple times in less than a second. Just make the lights work without special tricks, and if you want them to dim, just make them compatible with a regular dimmer. I wish they just did that instead of the flick the switch dimming. ... show more

Great design, easy to assemble, nice lighting with a great looks. I am in the process of building a large garage and we are behind due to contractors...... I had intended on sending pics with the review, but deadlines have come and gone. So I will do the best I can do and update when the garage is complete. I pulled out all the pieces and put the lights together during a bright day on the driveway. It was EASY to assemble. As you can see all the pieces just push together. A little hard to disassemble, but I consider that a GOOD thing. Good light, but actually don't know what it will do in my 43' X 40' garage in total darkness. I will be using this light for ambience lighting mostly so not 100% necessary that it lights up the whole garage when hung at 11." I believe they will be very easy to hang from the C channel floor joists for the second floor. I don't think these lights are designed to light up an area this large enough for working. I do know it will be more than enough to enter the garage and move about with plenty of light as they are bright. Will look for a second set for the other half when the time comes. Certainly can't comment on longevity, but there is a two year warranty. I don't see a UL approval. It would be a great feature in the event of an issue and an insurance claim. ... show more

I enjoy working on cars and small projects but my garage had terrible single bulb lighting. I came across this X-Litall Hexagon Garage Led Lights set for ceiling mounting. This is a top notch kit for Garage Led Lights. Instructions are clear and putting it together was fairly easy. Just push the pieces together. I love that you can customize the shape to better fit your ceiling. For example, I have a garage opener on the ceiling but this kit easily allowed me to work around it. There are a lot of parts to put together and although you can install these lights yourself, I had a family member assist which made the entire installation a breeze. I leave the setting on 100% bright and it makes my Roadster shine like a museum car. I cannot say enough about how much I really love these lights. Putting together the many pieces was worth it and the end results are very, very rewarding every time I turn on the garage lights. ... show more

I got these from the image of the honeycomb lights above a car alone. If you rig up your garage correctly, it will come out the same. But the fun part is that you can just use these lights anywhere as a piece of art. And for the price, that is really cool. Alternatively, I wired these directly to my garage door opener's lightbulb line and they turn on when I enter & exit my garage, or press the garage door's lightbulb button. Very dope! Comes in a bunch of tiny pieces. pretty time intensive to piece together. Not super bright but gives a cool aesthetic look. I suppose you could buy multiple and put them together and make a larger design. Overall id say pretty cool looking for the aesthetic.

I ordered this off vine because I've always wanted one. It really it up my shop! The color is bright and vivid, like daylight. It was a snap to put together, pun intended. I recommend laying out your design before you clip everything together, and remember it's gotta be a mirror image where the plug goes cuz you'll flip it over to mount! These clips do NOT want to let go, once they clip in they're solid. It's pretty light too, so I'm not worried about it falling down. They even include multiple ways to hang and wire for power. Very bright lite, intended to use this in my garage as general lighting for maintenance detailing, and vinyl wrapping vehicles at some point. The light bars are extremely light weight, 16pc in total in this particular kit which was enough to do 3 full interconnected hexagons. There was 2 additional wires for lighting the 3 segments individually which I may do at a later date, and is a good option. The hanger kit works very easy. Assemble the lights in the shape you intend to use. Mock it into place, and mark hanger locations. Screw in provided mounts and route the cabling through the lights into the the mount. It all screws together easily. Where I had the issue is 1 light is dead, and I was chasing it down for a while as it caused other segments not to light. The unions are finicky. Even after clicking the parts into place, segments would go out, and I had to squeeze or wiggle to get it to light back up. All in all, a little frustrating, but it does produce amazing lighting for a workshop. ... show more
